All was as advcertised and went smoothly. The cabin was nicely equipped and furnished. My girlfriend and I stayed there with our two dogs and had a great time. The river access is great and the place feesl very private and isolated, thoguh only 5 minutes away from Granite Falls. My only suggestion would be greater advisement regarding the stairs to the loft. We are able people, but folks that are older or less able would really struggle with those stairs.
Very quiet and cute place. We visited for our anniversary. It was relaxing to have the river right in the backyard with the hot tub/cold plunge and sauna right on the deck. Very peaceful. A short drive to town. We ate at a couple of restaurants & stopped at a coffee drive thru. We were glad we drove the truck and not the minivan because the last block or two was pretty steep. Also, I didn’t realize that the staircase was so narrow. That was a surprise. Felt like climbing a tree house! We don’t have mobility issues, but we were extra careful maneuvering the small/steep staircase. We visited the Ice Caves and drove part of the Mt. Loop. It would be fun to check out other hiking near by in the future. Overall, a good time was had and we could see ourselves coming here again.
