I can absolutely recommend this hotel! We stayed here for about 10 days and had a great holiday! We rent a car and the parking was free and very comfortable the whole time. Our room was superlovely, it got cleaned every day and the roomview was amazing. The staff is extremely friendly and affectionate. They were always open for questions and helped us with anything. The hotel is rather small so the atmosphere was on cordial terms, which we really enjoyed. There is a small private beach that belongs to the hotel where you can try different water sports / activities and book (for free) different tours such as snorkeling or glassbottom boat. We enjoyed this very much and used it often. During the day they offered different activities like a coconut workshop, aqua gym, a short language course and many more. In the evening they always organised something for the guests entertainment (live music / dance shows, DJ etc.) Thank you very much for making our holiday unforgettable!

Had we wanted five star food and service, then we would have substantially upgraded our hotel, and the cost of the holiday. This is exactly what we expected, so we were not disappointed with the rather ordinary food, and the lack of additional comforts in our room, such as a sofa. Hotel is very well run by Jennifer, who is about most of the time. Quite, relaxed, good pool.

We had the pleasure of staying at Paul et Virginie from 16th May 2017 to 30th May 2017 – and left the day before it was closing for the refurbishment. I felt as though I was in Paradise. The hotel was wonderful, our room always very clean, very comfortable and it had a good shower, a beautiful view over the beach and Indian Ocean. There was always plenty of choice in the restaurant and the waiters and bar staff were helpful, friendly and made you feel very welcome. We used the spa once – a wonderful experience, I wish I could have gone back again. The glass bottom boat trip and snorkelling was good, my husband tried dinghy sailing in the calm water, enjoyed his dip in the sea when he capsized and needed rescuing and the activities put on by Dany and Julian were all good fun – from aqua-fit to towel modelling to how to prepare a pineapple properly. There was one issue with a minibus outing which the hotel had organised, and you can always tell how good a place is by the way they deal with a problem. Jennifer and her team, get a 12/10 from me – thank you. Customer service in the UK could learn a lot from Mauritius. I can’t wait to go back and it will be to Paul et Virginie. To Jennifer and her whole team, thank you for making us feel so welcome in your country and your hotel.

I have recently returned from my second visit to this hotel and what can I say, fabulous again. The hotel staff cannot do enough for you and really look after you. I went on my own and had a lovely time. The spa is excellent. There is plenty to do in terms of trips and the hotel organises their own too. The downside is that this hotel is not near a town but the setting and fact that all rooms face the ocean more than makes up for this. Adults only too. The hotel does runs a shuttle to Grande Baie twice a week and you can also hire a car during your stay which I may do next visit. Please note that the hotel is currently undergoing refurbishment which I understand should be finished by October 2017. I am already looking at returning in October.

We stayed at the Paul and Virginie for our 2 week Honeymoon and could not rate it higher. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left the whole experience was fantastic. We were on an all inclusive package and the meals throughout the day were always of a high standard. The semi-private beach and boat house provided us with complimentary sunbeds, kayaks, wind surfing, pedalos and a daily glass bottom boat tour with snorkelling included amongst other activities. The pool area was also well maintained and the grounds were very picturesque. Throughout the day various activities were organised around the hotel including Aquagym, dance lessons, cycling tours etc. The staff at the hotel were top class, Danny and Julian the entertainment team were awesome and put on great evening entertainment each night as well as running the daily activities. Both very professional but also great fun to hang out with. The bar staff with Awmee in charge looked after us great and introduced us to lots of new cocktails and rums! Rakesh and his food and beverage team were professional and courteous making every meal very special.

Just returned from a very relaxing holiday here,if it's sun and doing nothing but relaxing this is for you, lovely place hotel staff very friendly and go out there way to help you, I am a very picky eater and I have to say that Rakesh & Rajeev ( sorry if it's spelt wrong) went above and beyond there duties to make sure that there was something I liked to eat even getting salads prepared for me so thank you very much not all hotels do that, that's what makes this hotel special,we read a lot of reviews before we went and quite a feel people commented on the local children playing on the beach can't understand why we were in room 400 they came at 5pm left 6pm, no bother off them very polite in fact we enjoyed watching them play football and it is there country! rooms cleaned daily with fresh towels daily, the refurbishment will make it even better, the staff from reception to the head gardener are a credit to the hotel and work hard so well done all of you!! Look forward to returning one day Thank You for a memorial holiday Malcolm & Sandra Paynter from England

We had a very nice time at Veranda Paul & Virginie Hotel & Spa. We really loved the way how private the hotel is, even though the hotel is full - it is very quite and have a private beach too. The hotel is also close to a local tour operator with very reasonable prices. It is also not in the busy city. We would definitely recommend the hotel. The hotel had entertainment every night, did not need to leave the hotel during the evenings.

1 week at this beautiful hotel! What more can you ask for? Amazing hotel, friendly people, delicious food, beautiful scenery, yummy cocktails. Great value for money if you on the all inclusive package!

What a wonderful hotel. The staff can't do enough for you, even to the point of inviting me to events on their day off. I don't have a bad word to say about these wonderful people. You can relax on the private beach or go into the lagoon, boat trips are from the hotel and the trip to the islands are amazing. Unforgettable. Would I go back to that hotel......In a heartbeat. It has a Restaurant on the jetty serving romantic meals for a quiet romantic night for Newly weds and oldy weds HA. Entertainment every night, theme nights, dance troupes, indian dancing nights, which the ladies can hire sari's....... The Creole nights are special with dancers on the beach around a fire, and the food goes with the theme. Plenty of choice for the fussy eaters as well....Enjoy yourselves ~Peace~

Thank you for a lovely time. It was so enjoyable. Worth every rupee!! Food, drinks, hospitality and entertainment. Staff was sooo very friendly. This hotel has everything you need! We will definitely be back!
