Stayed for 3 nights in king size room, it was very comfotable and clean space with good service. Not too far from the centre .Has many beautiful areas to rest and relax in family. A lot of aminities. Very suprised with this hotel to positive way
Stayed for 2 nights ,three days, very good location within walking distance of the old city as well as the city centre itself. Very comfortable and extremely welcoming all the staff were friendly, outgoing but very professional. Rooms were more spacious than what I expected whilst the breakfast was outstanding in terms of range and quality. Also the lunch, all you can eat buffet is vey good value at only €15 per head which includes dessert . Must mention Manuel on reception, first person we met and he set the tone, friendly, knowledgeable and very professional. Nothing was too much trouble he made us feel as if we were the only guests at the hotel which we clearly weren't. Would definitely stay here again and unreservedly recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in Granada.
This is a good modern hotel, not too far from the centre of things, 15 minutes to the Cathederal, 20 minutes from the Albucine, probably a taxi ride from the Alhambra. Just needs a few tweaks as far as their desk staff are concerned. On checking in there was only one person on the Reception desk, answering phones, queries and checking guests in. However she remained very pleasant in spite of being very busy. She took the time to offer us an upgrade, which we accepted as it virtually doubled the space of our room and incorporated a balcony, B111. However the room wasn't quite ready so we were invited to take a seat, which we did for about half an hour. Eventually she told us the room was ready and up we went only to find a workman fixing the skirting board just outside our bathroom. When I looked there was very obviously water damage to the flooring directly outside the bathroom, the wood had swollen and buckled, causing the veneer to peel off, it was unsightly, uneven and would have been difficult to have cleaned, therefore unhygienic. I wasn't happy, having waited so long and then to be allocated this wasn't good, however the rest of the room was lovely, spacious, large window and balcony. I rang reception to let them know that I wasn't happy with the room and they said they would send someone up, so we sat there waiting for this person to come. I rang again some time later to be told someone was on their way. Lo and behold it was the man who had been repairing the skirting, who then said he would take us to another room, he did, it was the room next door B110! This one was fine, except that it was set up for two and not the three in our party. Eventually after another few phone calls we got our third bed made up and enough towels for the three of us and cups. This was a poor start. Having settled in, we found all the staff polite and cheerful. The room quiet and beds comfortable. The hotel served excellent breakfasts with a wide choice, dinners were also very good value. The standard of cleanliness was very good, there was a choice of pools, towels provided at the poolside. Our last hiccup was on our last day, I enquiried if we could extend our room occupation for a couple of hours, we had a late flight and it was extremely hot. I was told in person at reception that we could on payment of 16 euros. I went to our room to confirm that this amount was ok with my travelling companions, it was, so I rang reception straight away, only to be told that the hotel was fully booked and I could not extend for the two hours. They said we could use hotel facilities(which is standard practice for most hotels in these circumstances) but we could not extend our occupancy by two hours. I was sad they couldn't be flexible and puzzled at the conflicting information.
Hotel surprised us positively with its services and staff. The hotel services met our needs well and adapted to our needs. The staff were always very service-minded and helpful. Although the location was a bit sideways, it did not hinder because there were a lot of different amenities around and a trip to the center was a walk away.
We visited Granada as a group of 8 after getting a good deal for the hotel. We had 2 family rooms and a double room but were upgraded to 3 family rooms so we could be next to each other. Thanks The hotel is located near a motorway but this doesn't impact it. The hotel is excellent, with parking. All areas of the hotel are very clean and all the staff were brilliant. The breakfast and food is also good, much better than I expected plus they offer a reasonable choice of halal food. The WiFi was good not as slow as some of the hotels we have stayed in. I have already recommended this hotel to friends who are visiting at the end of August. The hotel is about 20 minutes walk to the old historical centre but wear comfy shoes as it's very hot and hilly. But it's worth the walk the views are amazing. All in all a great holiday and a special thanks to the staff.
My partner and I visited Granada at the end of July and found a great deal on this hotel. We absolutely loved it! The hotel is around a 15 min walk to the centre, and is well located next to the motorway for arriving by car. The hotel was very clean and looked modern. We had a standard double room and it was great. Everything we needed, good beds and a large bathroom, and was cleaned beautifully everyday. The only thing that could be improved is faster wifi. We opted for the breakfast and it was plentiful and varied. I would recommend anyone to go for the breakfast, as it's better than most hotels I've visited. Mostly we relaxed around the hotel, using the sun loungers and pools. We had a fantastic time, and would definitely come back to this hotel if we're near Granada again. Thanks to the staff of the hotel!
We stayed here for 2 nights while visiting Granada and didn't regret our choice. We are family of 2 adults and 3 kids (6yo, 4yo and 10 months old) and all had a great experience. Kids enjoyed the pool, there are 2 pools with plenty of sun beds around, one of them can be turned into indoor if case of bad weather. There is also big kids room with many things to play with open from 19:00-24:00, our kids had great fun there and didn't want leave. We had an opportunity to have a quite dinner in the town while they were enjoying the play. Our family room was ok, a bit dark with little window, unlike other rooms facing the street with big windows. However it was stylish and cost, spacious enough for our family. Breakfast was ok, quite basic but enough options for kids and adults to choose from. They also offer buffet dinner and a la carte, but we decided to eat out. The hotel is around 15 min walk to the city center. If you plan to get to Alhambra make sure to buy your tickets at least few weeks in advance as they have limit on number of tourists they let in.
Gran Hotel Luna is a great hotel and the staff is very helpful. Pool is small but very relaxing. Rooms were spacious and very clean. The hotel staff is very helpful with tour information, shows and taxis.
Obviously this is not a character hotel but for the group we were in it had everything needed for a short stay . Staff were pleasant , room was immaculate and there are swimming pools etc. for relaxation . The value is exceptional.
