My wife and I stayed just the one night. It was on a Monday in September. I must agree with so many other reviewers. What is wrong with the AC. The hottest room I ever stayed in and it was only 28 out. Can't imagine it in August. I complained and was told by front desk that the AC was only working at 50% because they were half full but offered to send someone to look at it. They sent housekeeping who verified that in fact it wasn't working. Lol. When I asked for a room switch the story changed to sorry we are 100% full and no rooms available but can offer a nice white fan. The room is dated with two beds pushed together. Not comfortable at all. TV with one English Channel. CNN international. The morning buffet was good and the hotel is in a great location but there are so many other options available. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
This is the second Hotel that I've been In Spain that is absolutely horrendous. The Room is so small that my roomie and I can barely move. It is very dated the beds are very yucky. they give you one flat skinny pillow that you have to double-up and even then it's still a skinny flat pillow. The shower tile has mold, the toilet is so close to the sink, you can bump your head going to the toilet . Did i mention the AC is pretty much non-existent? When I complained the gave me this white fan. Which, then elimnates the ug thay we can use to charge our equipment with. I would never stay at this hotel again.
One of the most terrible hotels in Granada! Very small room. Uncomfortable bed. Very old. Does not worth to stay in this hotel for this price. Although, If you bring a cat you have to pay 20 €/day in the parking nearby, no matter if you just leave the car for 12 hours, you will pay 20 €. Buffet breakfast normal but good quality. Of course there are more hotels in granada with better quality and prices. Don't go back never again!
If you can find the car park entrance you've done well! If you have anything bigger than a small hatch back-forget it. Room was falling to pieces, bed bases were torn and the cupboard door handles come off in your hands , The air con was virtually useless, and with 38C we needed help. The hall way carpet look like it had been stolen from a down market back packers, and the bed was a back breaker. Got bitten all night by unseen bugs. The very worst hotel I have stayed in in a long time. Do yourself a favour and stay elsewhere!
Lovely large room, with Juliette balcony onto front street, certainly not too noisy at night. The air-con worked well if a bit noisy. Beautiful clean linen, & comfy large bed. Toiletries in bathroom were limited and poor quality. ..... Brilliant position and surrounded by restaurants, breakfast places, & shops. Alhambra was about 10mins away on a bus which we found a 5 min walk away, up the Main Street. Very close to the cathedral & Morrocan Bazaar.
Simply horrible! For 194 Eur / night, the room is crappy, the beds are deformed, and the air conditioning is making a monster noise. I called the reception to tell them that it's impossible to sleep with such a noise, and the reply has been "one of my colleagues will come up to see in 15 mins". After 45 min, and it's almost 11pm, nobody showed up yet. It's like sleeping into a noisy nuclear turbine: indecent, don't waste your money in a place like this!
It was one of the worst hotels that I've ever visited , the only good thing about this hotel is the location, that is it! I am not sure about hotel rating in Spain but it is definitely not a 4 star hotel!
Booked Juan Miquel for a two day stay in Granada visiting Alhambra and Sierra Nevada. The location is right in the town centre, with parking nearby (stamp the ticket in hotel to get 10% discount ~ €20 per day). The hotel itself is simple, very clean and offers excellent buffet breakfast. The staff was very friendly, spoke very good English and nothing was too much trouble for them.
The hotel is in an excellent location with just a short walk to most attractions. The hotel is comfortable and clean with toiletries being replenished daily,they do not have tea or coffee making facilities. The hotel is in need of a refurbishment as its looking a little worn in places. In order to use the safe deposit box in the room you need to pay 30 euros in order for reception to provide you with the keys,this to me is a little unusual as this is a basic service which should be offered by the hotel. The hotel reception staff were great always very attentive and helpful. Overall it was good for a short stay.
- TINY dingy, dirty room with only one small window with bars in the corner... -COCKROACH on my bed - Staff only offered to pay for me to go get my own insect spray- As “there were no other rooms”. - Disgusting old and dirty red carpet. - TINY shower less than half the size of a bathtub - Water pressure no good in the shower and does not heat up properly - Hotel charged me FOUR extra times for my entire stay through their “secure payment website”- I spent a fortune on calling this hotel from overseas as I had to “prove” the transactions happened before they refunded the money… They could not even check their own transactions! - Rothia/ Rosia staff advised me the airport bus comes every 10 minutes- The next bus on the Friday morning was one hour later- I had to pay 30 EURO for a taxi because she gave me wrong information and I would have missed my flight. - HOTEL MANAGEMENT SHOULD BE ASHAMED. THE ROOMS ON THE WEBSITE WERE A COMPLETE LIE!! I would have been better at a hostel- But my room for 7 nights was non-refundable. - A hostel is cleaner and better than this hotel! IN SPANISH - Hotel Me acusó a cuatro veces adicionales para toda mi estancia a través de su "sitio web de pago seguro" - Me gastado una fortuna en llamar a este hotel desde el extranjero ya que tuve que "probar" las transacciones ocurrieron antes de que devolverá el dinero ... No podían incluso comprobar sus propias transacciones! - Personal Rothia / Rosia me aconsejó el autobús del aeropuerto sale cada 10 minutos-El próximo autobús en la mañana del viernes fue de una hora más tarde - que tenía que pagar 30 euros por un taxi porque ella me dio información equivocada. - HOTEL MANAGEMENT debería avergonzarse. Las habitaciones en el sitio web eran totalmente mentira !! Hubiera sido mejor en una hostal- Pero mi habitación era de 7 noches no son reembolsables. - Un hostal es más limpio y mejor que este hotel!
