We booked this hotel as it had been recommended. Franky, superb, especially with the beautiful view of the square. Very convenient if you wish to visit Albayzin. Staff very helpful and professional although they did not manage to find my booking at the beginning guess problem with the reservation site. Breakfast : ok for 8 euros, can't really get cheaper than that, although perhaps I would suggest a walk and have an improvised breakfast in the center, more charming than a basement breakfast. However lady was very charming and efficient, thank you for your service and attention.
This is the worst hotel I ever stay in my life First they do not have luggage service assistance, no place to park your car to unload luggage Very small elevator Very unpleasant staff It take forever to check in A/C is not working Shower broke down as soon as you touch it
We arrived at late night welcoming staff was very helpful, the hotel is old but nice. The facilities in the rooms are basic but enough for the stay, they gave us maps and offered us their assistance. We kept our luggage at the counters until the evening when we came back. The staff are excellent make you feel at home, hotel is walking distance from major attractions but it was very hot to walk
The hotel was too far to walk to from the bus station where we arrived so we caught a taxi which cost us 7 Euros plus an extra 3 for baggage. We had only 2 nights booked for Granada and had not pre-purchased tickets for the Alhambra and Blanca behind the desk made a few phone calls to see if we could join a tour - it did not sound promising, however she checked again the following morning and she arranged for us to join the bus that was picking up people who were booked for tours. There was room for us on the bus and we were to take pot luck when we got there to see if we could get a ticket. We waited around for a bit and didn't get to join a tour but were able to get a ticket to go around ourselves. All worked out fine, especially as an announcement came over the loud speaker at 1.30pm that the tickets for that day had sold out. We were very grateful to Blanca for her kind help. The hotel room was comfortable with a safe in the room also. The hotel is located very near the Grand Via and also very close to an 11th century fortress gate - the Puerta Elvira. We were able to walk to the Albaicin district from the hotel.
This hotel is about 5 to 15 minutes walk from lots of amazing places in Granada. The biggest highlight is the warm hospitality; welcome drinks are available in the lobby all day, and the staff is helpful and very friendly. A good pick for short stays.
I had just been on a biking trip staying at paradors so was expecting quite a step down. Not so Location is ideal…. easy access great close underground parking.Staff speak perfect English and overwhelmingly helpful.Large comfortable impeccably clean room and bathroom.Immediately adjacent to old city great access and all for a price that is very reasonable. And did I mention the breakfast that was essentially the same as offered at the paradors.
In the city center, 10 minutes walk from the Cathedral. Few tapas bar around, so is also quiet (rooms do have double windows). Bus from/to airport stops are within 5 minutes walk. Staff are very kind an professional. We had to leave early, so (with one day notice), they prepared us a take-away breakfast. Beds are large and confortable, rooms are clean also if sligthly to be updated. If you are a very big person, maybe the bath door can be Tricky. Our room had a bidet, which I very much appreciated.
Stayed here for 1 night on the 5th April. Arrived early but Bianca on reception was extremely helpful & welcoming. Took our case & started the check in process, gave us a map & marked out highlights all within walking distance. When we came back we were given our room key. Our room was light & airy with a full bathroom. Very clean. We did not eat at the hotel so cannot comment on the food. We would stay here again next time we are in the area.
Me and my wife, we stayed in this hotel for 2 nights, we really enjoyed our stay, the hotel is clean, room is with a reasonable space and a nice view. Special Thanks to Blanca and Inmaculada for their professionalism, very friendly and helpful members, they always make sure Customers are happy and feel welcomed. We definitely go back to this hotel as we loved Granada and the hotel.
1.Not clean at all!i should not find stains on the floor or major dust mites. Ok so a couple of dust mites, ok but the kicker was the bathroom....Bathrooms are sacred for me the fact you have all kinds of fluid spots on the floor signals major trouble...i am not related to or aquainted with the previous guest therefore im not into sharing their fluids. The hotel is non smoking but our room stunk of smoke, not sure if the house keeper was having a smoke break in the room or previous guest was a chain smoker. When it comes to cleanliness in Granada the score is very low overall. 2. Hotel staff was ok, only encountered front desk staff P.s dogs run free here and for those that have owners they really could careless so walking around is like a tactical course dodging feces. If you need to see Alhambra make it a day trip then continue to Cardoba(2 hrs away), Granada is not worth the stay.
