I was traveling on my own from Australia. From check in to check out, my stay was fantastic. Staff were so friendly and helpful, I felt safe and relaxed and couldn't have asked for anything more. I was given directions when I asked, wine or beer when requested and didn't want to leave when the day came. After coming from a massive resort style hotel in Seville, this cosy little place was exactly what I was after. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean with a fridge and tea and coffee facilities available and air con that worked a treat. The courtyard was great for a relaxing drink or chatting with other guests. If you are after flash 5 star accommodation look elsewhere, this was simple, homely and lovely accommodation for those wanting to stay somewhere that feels like you're in Spain. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

I stayed in September, travelling independently. I was welcomed by lovely, helpful reception staff. My very comfortable room was on the ground floor, I was able to enjoy the courtyard which is a lovely area. I enjoyed a 10 minute walk into city centre. Cafes, a variety of restaurants all within walking distance of the hotel. I had tickets for the Alhambra Palace, which is stunning. Also a visit to the Sierra Nevada was brilliant. I would definitely return.

Hello, I have stayed in many Hotels before but what happened here was just unbelievable!! When my boyfriend and I arrived in Granada, we where looking for a hotel in the city center. This one came up and it was quite close so we walked there. We entered and were welcomed by 2 receptionists. Before booking a night we were asking to view one of the rooms (in spanish). I was surprised that someone who works in a hotel in Spain is not speaking/ understanding any word in Spanish but ok. I was even more suprised by the fact that she also didn’t understand our request in English!!! This is why she was calling the manager to help. He came in, with a very passive aggressive attitude. So we were asking him if it’s possible to view a room and he said no this is against the policy! Really confused about that statement we “dared” to ask why and he then literally kicked us out. This is not what I understand of a good service or a service Id like to pay for! I’m very surprised about all these good reviews.. from my part I definetly can’t recommend this hotel at all!

Upon arriving at the hotel the staff where very helpfull and whilst happy with the room we were given we were offered an apartment a short walk away for more privacy which we took, it was very comfortable all ameneties tv in living roim and bedroom, fully stocked kitchen and nice bathroom as well as air con in each room. We were not able to get alhambra palace tickets before our arrival but the staff sorted this for us. If we were to visit granada again we would stay here.

Great hotel, with really helpful friendly staff. Room was great, and the courtyard is lovely. There are plenty of bars and cafes on Calle San Juan de Dios, which is 1 minute away, great for coffee, breakfast, or a beer. Less that 10 minute walk to the Cathedral, and the Albaicin. Would definitely recommen.

Location: Right at the edge of the old town and within walking distance of everything. The place: The hotel is clean and charming, but don't expect a 5-star location. I booked my room online so when I checked in, there were no hassles - they just made me sign my bill and that was that. My room was in the main level and right in front of a lovely courtyard. That was a real treat given the warm weather! The room has enough room for two twin beds and some storage, and the bathroom was pretty spacious for a hotel. Note that if you are two people in the room, you might find it to be a tight fit. The only negative for me, was the shower gel didn't really lather a whole lot and I basically used a whole bottle each time I showered. Not a huge deal, but I paid about $80 a night and after a day of walking in the heat, I like to lather up. Service: Great! The two ladies who were here when I checked in were super friendly and gave me tips and suggestions. Very nice folks. Price point: when all was said and down, I paid about $160 CDN for two nights. It's a bit expensive but you can't beat the location.

Stayed here for 1 night. Arrived had parking to rear of hotel. Given map on checking in and excellent recommendations for Tapas. Room on first floor. Had bench outside to sit on veranda. Room very good with shower and tv. Very quiet. Great location for short walk to Albaicin.

Unfortunately we only had one night at this hotel in Granada but were very impressed with the hotel and Granada and would love to visit both again sometime. The hotel is small and very convenient for the centre. It is built around a typical Spanish courtyard and although they do not do food there are lots of very appetising places near by. The staff in particular were extemely helpful, especially in sorting out a fine I would certainly have got for driving in restricted areas in the city. My advice is not to take a car!

This is a marvelous little hotel in a great location near the center of the city within walking distance of shopping, dining and many other attractions. It is located on a peaceful street, so my street side room at the front of the building was delightfully quiet allowing for a good rest each evening. The staff are very friendly, accommodating and speak English well. There is complimentary coffee in the small lobby. I routinely received a consistently good wi-fi connection from anywhere in the hotel. While the outside of the hotel is attractive, it is the inside which really shines, including a quiet interior courtyard with tables and plantings. I would definitely stay here again, and would recommend this hotel to other travelers.

Nice, centrally located small hotel. As others have commented, the street approach is underwhelming, but everything you want to see and do is an easy walk. There is a lovely central patio area if you want to siesta. Staff were very helpful, room was clean, bathroom was modern, and the price was right. Kettle and cups were provided, but no spoons, my one complaint.
