We stayed at the hotel back in August as a last minute holiday, I have to say the hotel was lovely, and provided us with a nice comfy base. The hotel is right on the beach and if you keep near the hotel to sunbath you can still access the free WIFI. The breakfasts are excellent and defiantly a must. Our room was cleaned every day and sheets changed three times in the week, we always had clean towels to come back to. There's a hairdryer, free air con and some shampoos and shower gels to use too. We didn't use what was in the mini bar, instead we filled it with our drinks etc... There's some lovely restaurants near the hotel, just outside to the left is a burger bar LA66, best burgers ever, just don't order loads as you won't be able to eat it all. We also had a lovely steak from Buenos Aires Grill, again go out of the hotel along the beach front and it's the first ally on the left. This was one of the best holidays we had, we will defiantly go back as the hotel offered a relaxing vibe right on the beach, thank you 😊
The location of the hotel is very good because it is near to the beach and near to restaurants, bars etc. You can take a taxi and less than 10 minutes you can go to the centre of the old and new town. The rooms in the hotel are cozy but with a lot of noise. Very clean rooms and breakfast with a good variety.
Brilliant hotel. Beautiful balcony view of the beach. Excellent, very polite and helpful staff. Superb service. Room was absolutely clean and lovely. We were very sad to leave. Thank you to everyone at NH.
Stayed for 1week from 19th August very nice hotel friendly staff and the rooms are kept spotless had a room with a limited sea view but the front rooms have a full view off the beach which is directly in front of the hotel breakfast is good with a choice to suit all tastes. The hotel is situated right at the beach so you have no swimming pool and is ideal for beach holidays sun beds can be hire for 7.50 euros 2beds parasol and table found that the best eating out was in and around the hotel with a variety of restaurants and bars would certainly go back and is your ideal beach holiday
Nice rooms but not with enough space. The view is very good, you can enjoy the ocean and the beach. The breakfast is delicious and has the right variety. The staff is polite and willing to help you. Near to the hotel there is a supermarket and many restaurants, bars and different places to eat or drink.
Had a good stay here! The staff is very help full. The restaurant has beach view. Good thing is next to beach, so can walk around the beach at any time! Hotel is surrounded by lots of eating restaurant and bar around , even spa center are also there.
What an incredible letdown this hotel turned out to be. Dirty, tiny and rundown with second-rate facilities and usless staff. Talk about Fawlty Towers! Terribly overpriced compared to like hotels such as Holiday Inn and Mercure, etc. Staff frequently offer false or misleading info when asked a simple question. Unless you speak Spanish, you're in for a poor stay, because no one speaks fluent English.
Great location overlooking the beach, watch the morning activity on the beach from the restaurant whilst enjoying a excellent breakfast of fresh fruit and juices, hot food to order, selection of breads, cold meats, cakes and smoothies. Rooms modern, comfortable beds, excellent HD TV reception, lots of channels showing films and tv series, all dubbed in Spanish, BBC World, Bloomberg, CNBC. Good wifi reception. Reception staff were generally unfriendly. Hotel is surrounded by lots of eating establishments, mainly cafes, agree with my tourist guide that most are below par. Vegilia, the old town, is around 2km from the hotel, it can be easily reached by yellow city bus No1. Prepaid tickets available for all yellow buses at 8.50 Euros for 10 journeys plus 1.50 Euros for initial purchase of card. Blue buses go to Aracus, Puerto de las Nieves from a stop near El Cortez Ingles, pay the driver fares 2.10 and 4.40 Euros respectively. Blue buses to Teror, market days Saturday and Sunday, go from the bus station in the old town.
Really not a a Holiday Hotel but can't complain, rooms spotless, breakfast excellent, staff friendly, great location on the beach, only down side no where to sit in the sun and relax, sea view rooms are a must.
We did not have a sea view, but still our balcony allowed us to see the wider vista of mountains. Room was a good size, spotlessly clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a vast array of choice. Helpful and kind staff who smiled always.
