Our stay at Alexandra Place was so nice. From our check in to our check out it couldn't have been any better. The lady who greeted us and farewelled us was so wecolming and obliging. The room was verry comfortable and homely. We were able to leave our luggage in the office while we went and did more things to do with the festival. Alexandra Place thank you for a very much for such an enjoyable weekend. We would definitely stay here again.
The room was exactly as described and pictured online. Clean and tidy. Breakfast was great and the pancakes were delicious. Convenient location and easy to find. Can recommend and will be back next time we are in Bendigo.
Pleasant quiet motel, clean rooms an friendly staff. Free wifi is average... but made up for by having a pub next door! Comfortable beds. Room service meals. Close to the centre of town and it's various eateries and attractions.
Although our room had been modernised there was an underlying shabbiness to the interior. There was chipped wood the lamp was lop sided the mattress sagged the couch looked well used. The shower tiles were slippery rendering them unsafe maybe due to residual soap. Maybe a good clean and and a quality control inspection. It is close to a good pub next door and in a central location.
Great Motel close to a lot of things. The staff was Informative, very friendly and helpful. Magnificent food at the pub next door. Would stay here again next time we come to Bendigo. Next time we would try the Tram.
Booked a executive spa room and wasn't disappointed. Really comfortable bed , plenty of linen and space for belongings . Enjoyed a pub meal close by . Considering its on the main road, surprisingly quite and we enjoyed a solid sleep.
This is a typical small town motel; it was clean and tidy, the bar fridge was packed full of local beers and snacks. The bed we had needs to be ripped out and replaced, you don't expect to leave with a sore back and neck from a bad bed. Apart from that id stay again, quick ten-minute walk into town and its right next door to a pub and service station. Staff were friendly.
We stayed at Alexandra Place for a weekend in Bendigo. The room was clean, and had a good sized fridge, reliable wifi and Foxtel channels. The location is an ideal base for exploring the city, being 15 minutes walk to the city centre and around 30 minutes to the Central Deborah Gold Mine. The popular Percy and Percy cafe is across the street, and the Lakeview Hotel is literally next door. The lady at the front desk was very nice. We arrived around 8:30pm, but didn't inform the hotel, so she phoned us while we were on the way to let us know that reception closed at 9pm. One night we had some cheese and crackers, so asked to borrow a knife. We were taken to the kitchen and given a few knives and some plates too. It's always nice when staff go the extra effort for guests.
We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment over the weekend. The property is beautifully renovated - big spacious rooms and well located in relation to town. Our only issue was the "master" bedroom is at the front of the house facing the main road and is terribly noisy ALL night. I ended up sleeping on the fold out couch in the lounge room! The kids bedroom (located at the back of the property) was wonderfully quiet!
A friend and I had a lovely 2 day stay in beautiful Bendigo, Staying at Alexandra Place, was a delight. Very obliging staff. Pub next door was a boon for meals. Situated a short walk from the Antique Talking Tram Terminal service, a must do when you go to Bendigo.
