The Arete: 3-bedroom mountain townhouse with hot tub

The Arête is a three-bedroom townhouse located in the Whispering Pines Subdivision, the original subdivision built at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort. Modest and cozy, this unit has small town mountain vibes.

The main level is an open concept fully equipped kitchen, dining table and living room featuring an electric fireplace. Upstairs, the master bedroom features a king bed and full ensuite bathroom. There are two additional bedrooms and one more bathroom on the upstairs level. Extra sleeping space in the living room with a pull-out couch. The front outside balcony offers a propane barbecue, a small table and views of the local mountain ranges. On the back deck, you can enjoy a private hot tub with forest views. Underground heated garage for one vehicle and additional parking on the street.

The Whispering Pines prime location makes trails at the resort easily accessible, whether biking in the summer or skiing in the winter. It is 15 minutes away from the town of Golden, British Columbia and 20 minutes to the Golden Sky Bridge Adventure Park. If you’re looking to explore, we are surrounded by six National parks; Banff, Yoho, Kootenay, Glacier, Revelstoke and Jasper.

Guests have exclusive use of the entire townhouse. Self check-in with keypad access.

Nice condo in a calm area that was a welcome change from Banff. Golden is not within walking distance of Kicking Horse Resort but the views and the staff make up for the slight inconvenience. Enjoyed our stay.

Great Place, Great Location!

My wife and I and teenage sons really enjoyed our stay. We checked out the hill for mountain biking. The place was very organized and well set up for us. We enjoyed the organized kitchen with everything we needed for our stay. The weather was warm so we appreciated the many fans to keep the room cool.

Nice property on bottom of Kicking Horse ski slope. Even in summer it is a great place to stay. Minutes from Golden BC where there are plenty of bars and restaurants. Just off Hwy 1 for easy transportation. Nice views out the front windows and balcony. everything you need was on hand from coffee to comfy beds.

Great spot at Kickinghorse

Stayed here with some friends for our annual ski weekend and thoroughly enjoyed the space. Lots of room, clean, beds were comfy, and location was a short ski or walk down the hill. We had a bit of trouble getting in the unit but that was remedied with a call to the owner. The hot tub is also quite loud but, aside from that, I would definitely stay here again.
