It was beautiful
Great location
The room was very dirty... we were unable to stay there. We discussed with the staff who tried to clean but was still very dirty. The grounds and entrance way were filthy... We have pictures... Such as shame as it is a beautiful location... We left within an hour of arriving, did not even unpack and ended up driving 5 hours to Kelowna to find alternative accommodation. I would like a full refund please!
My wife and I went to the Emerald Lake Lodge last weekend on Saturday the 28th. The food and the service at the restaurant was excellent. But we had a few issue with the room. We check in around 3pm, we notice a window broken, we try to take a shower before going to the hot tube and the handle was broken(not sure how they clean the bat tub before we got in the room…). I manage to pull the screw and used it like this but it was not easy. The eating was stuck on high temp, we try to shut it off but noting work(the room fell like a steam room). We when to see the front desk around 3h45 and tell Rene those problem. She offer us a free breakfast for the inconvenient and she said that she will send the maintenance to check that. After the hot tub we return to the room to change and no one came in to check the shower or the heater. We when out again for a walk, a drink and dinner. We came back at 8h pm and the maintenance guy was there in the bathroom doing the repair. The bath tub was left dirty. He try to repair the heating problem until 9h. He finally decide that he need more tool so he left. We close the door and put the sing do not disturb. Having the maintenance working on the room problem between 8 and 9 in the evening was totally inappropriate and unacceptable. We where there to have a time alone my wife and I, we spend 1 hour with the maintenance guy instead. We add to have the patio door open all night because the heat was to much. We pay over 500$ for that room and to hav
