We had an issue with the toilet seats being loose/broken which was promptly fixed, however the blinds in the main living area were all needing attention and one actually fell down on the last day while we were there when we tried to roll it up. The unit has been refurbished and is very neat and comfortable. Extra things like hand soap dispensers in the bathrooms are a nice touch and helpful when on holidays instead of soap cakes. It is located a short walk to a G-Tram stop, Australia Fair and the walkways through the Broadwater Parklands are lovely for daily walking. We enjoyed our stay there.

Leave me locked out on The balcony for 1.5 hrs at night because room is poorly maintained and AH people had no idea how to get locksmith access. Main bed light didn’t work. Ensuite taps turn opposite, so I was burnt a few times. All lighting poor light and some took ages to come on. Fire alarm going off at 3.30am??? No explanation. Very expensive for the age of the room. Definitely won’t be returning

Service was helpful and straight forward. Also helped when I was lost or needed advice. The only thing is with expedia you need to point out it was not reserve and pay when arrive. The client actually sends an invoice to pay before which is ok but stipulate this. Also there is a bond that has been taken and not returned yet

Palmerston Tower 7 day Stay

The apartment was clean and equipped to be able to do some self catering. A little way from the supermarket and the tram. Might be better to be a couple of blocks closer to Southport. It was necessary to request both towels and toilet rolls to cover the 7 day stay, no biggy, however it felt like there was a chance the management were going to turn me down 😳. For a week stay I do expect more than 2 towels and 2 loo rolls, call me needy.

The only good thing about the property is location. The apartment condition is terrible. The milk packet in our room was expired three months back, like how can you not see that. The couch in the room is old, had some holes in it. We move the bed in bedroom and found so many things under the bed. Our overall experience was horrible. Please dont book it if you want a good stay!

Great location especially for little kids who can enjoy playing in the Broadwater Parkland’s amazing rockpools water play area. But bring your own shampoo and conditioner... also none of the lamps worked which was mildly inconvenient. Our kids also adored the pool on site.
