The only complaint would be we weren’t given the WiFi access or how to contact reception at check in and didn’t see the QR cube code till the morning and the sticker on the phone was ripped off! Other than that, awesome stay!

We had a late event and tried to get room service but it wasn’t convenient and the menu looked like a McDonald’s. Woken early by high pitched noise of old pipes in our ceiling. Outside our room is a construction site. All in all not pleasant.

The Dorsett is a stylish hotel. The were stylishly decorated rooms and fairly spacious .It was only missing a desk. My partner needed to do some work every morning. I found out that they have executive suites that accommodate that. Something to keep in mind for next time. No one should be sitting inside during a Queensland holiday anyway. Head to the pool and take your laptop. We did a a squealing noise coming from a cupboard directly outside our door that woke us on the first day. When we mentioned it - it was fixed immediately. The pool is gorgeous and it is close to everything you need. I’d definitely come back.

All up it cost just under $800 for the night. Might have been because other events but I stayed at the Hilton a month ago much bigger room and for less. I wouldn’t stay at the Dorsett again just for that. Restaurants and buffet breakfast were great.
