This was a magnificent old coach house with a very historical feel to it, but modern conveniences. It was a spacious room with very comfortable bed and loved the window seat. I had breakfast and a light dinner in the restaurant, both of which were excellent. There was no lift so not recommended for people with mobility issues.

Always a pleasure to stay at the Kings Arns.

Always a pleasure to stay at the Kings Arms. The staff are always welcoming, friendly and professional. Rooms are clean and have all amenities. Showers could do with a deep clean around the silicon fastenings. Otherwise they are fine. My no.1 preference for a stay in Godalming.

Parking limited, first come first served, but good if you can get a space. Check in was good but not over friendly. First impressions of room were good, has a wow factor, but closer inspection revealed a layer of dust on many surfaces. Also only a couple of towels between two of us but reception brought up a couple more when requested. Bed was comfortable and room a good size. No safe in room or fridge. Despite that our stay was comfortable and the food we had in the evening was decent.

Nice but noisy early bins!

Nice hotel in the centre of town, staff are friendly but I always get woken up by the bins being pulled/dragged through the hotel courtyard from the rear of the hotel at 5am in the morning!

Lovely old hotel with beautiful rooms in a pretty area. Good cooked breakfasts but limited continental choice. Our room wasn't serviced despite asking twice for this to happen. Maybe staff shortage? Service needs a little more atrention to detail and more management supervision e.g. no orange juice avaliable one morning as it wasn't refilled, given a broken coffee cafetiere on both mornings, as the room wasn't serviced we had an unmade bed, full litter bins and had to ask for milk etc to.be replenised. Unwashed cups and the bottled water we asked for never appeared. At close on £200 a night and a 4 star rating I would have expected better. Would I stay there again? Yes I would as it is a lovely hotel but I would have been expecting compensation for tge shortcomings. Hopefully this wouldn't be an issue a second time
