You can’t go wrong with location in Candolim ... it’s on the beach side but beach access is slightly complicated through shacks and all. It was v good with family as the guards took extra care with kids not to venture out alone and looking around them. One of our friends did face many issues with the room first night but next day itself they moved them to presidential suite which was great with private pool n all. Service around the pool area needs to get better. One of the best things we felt was they employ a lot of differently able staff and they all were extremely happy and hospitable. Overall good exp.
Great place...small rooms but very nice ambiance.. good food.. chef gives personal attention to your requirement..food very expensive so better take buffet. Staff is very good deaf and dumb people but you don't feel like they are more expressive and obedient.. spa service is average..pool area is good for enjoyment with your loved ones.. definitely will like to visit again..
The hotel is very well located near the beach. It is an old Portuguese house. The breakfast was awesome with large selection of food items Marvelous staff who took care of every need. Its great to know that Mr. Nikhil personally takes care of most things. The pool has enough sunbeds and a kids area as well. The Asian restaurant serves lovely south Asian food with great service and ambiance. travelled with my year old daughter and her food needs were very well catered to. Cheers and will certainly recommend
Average sized rooms ,poor amenities quality in bathroom. Staff too good at service. Breakfast variety and taste not up to mark. Haphazard at breakfast timings. Mismanaged. Biggest problem parking. Outside taxi people act like mafia. They won't allow us to park car from outside and acted rudely. Hotel authorities are irresponsible on this matter. They charge double the others and Wont let other taxi to ply. Really had big tym inconvenience . Pool too without lifeguard no check on hotel guest on pool ethics. Should place shades on pool chairs. Hotel management should seriously think about solving taxi n parking problem.
we walked in and got just the room we wanted. room was in the back side of the hotel. older structure but well maintained. rooms roof was very high and well decorated. sweet fragrance of lemon was an awesome experience. only drawback is the beach is a bit far from the hotel. otherwise awesome place to stay.
We arrived in the evening and I found the bed very soft in our lovely deluxe room. As I have a bad back, and if I did not get the mattress sorted out I would be in pain. I had to request it be changed no matter what. The staff bent over backwards to eventually sort out the mattress after a few options and this went on till 10 pm at night! . That already told me that that nothing was too much trouble and that this was going to be a marvellous place to stay during my time in north Goa. And it was. The next morning I found the ambience so friendly and welcoming -and much to my delight, hearing impaired staff are also employed. The staff wear tags to inform guests as to how communications can be relayed. As I am hearing impaired and fluent in speech, it impressed me no end that this hotel brand takes the initiative to employ them and to train the hearing staff to communicate with them. The night bartender Prankaj was completely fluent in sign and I had two delightful evening conversing with him and the other staff, Danesh one of the managers overseeing the two marvellous restaurants, and Jason and reception were incredibly helpful and pleasant to deal with. The hotel is glorious - a tranquil haven away from the hustle and bustle of outside - it is very busy outside with traffic , people and numerous shops and restaurants. It is the perfect place to timeout to relax by the lovely pool use the gym and the spa ( great treatments available by Thai masseurs, they are the best in my opinion) or just relax in the air conditioned bedroom with TV or read a book. The restaurants : one is called the Republic of Noodles and we had such a delicious meal - the cuisine is Asian and we were hard pressed to decide what to choose to eat between the many different things on offer . The other one is where we had the excellent breakfast buffet (many choices - Indian and Western food ), and in the evenings while there is a buffet available every night we made use of the menu as were were not very hungry. The food is excellent and I cannot fault it. The beach is a few minutes walk away from the back of the hotel - it was so nice knowing it was right there and have the option to lie on the many deckchairs available and use the many beach shacks for food and drinks - we did more touring and relaxing in the hotel ( we wanted quiet time) than lying at the beach all day. It was very hot and humid and it is not really my thing to spend the whole day on the beach - I went early morning and late afternoon to walk along the coastline and to swim and to watch the sunset - heavenly. Knowing that I had a haven to come to from my activities was a joyful experience . I loved the hotel, our room, the view by pool (coconut trees and frangipanis and squirrels jumping from tree to tree if lie long enough by the pool in later afternoon to watch the world go by ), and my evening swims in the pool. Already missing Lemon Tree Amarante beach resort, and I would stay there again without any doubt. Definitely recommended.
Had a great experience here. Texas with family... beautiful property, nearby beach, lovely ambiance and a huge swimming pool made our stay in Lemon Tree more pleasant 👪 Just felt that there should be more options in continental breakfast. Rest was superb 💝
Its one worst properties i have ever been to. The power cuts have been so so frequent every 10 mins.. the water supply in bathroom also gets disconnected if the electricity is cut. The wifi connection is not given per guest.. till u scream n shout. The AC is serviced after u shout n then they clean the filter. Is that how a 4* property like lemon tree be. We r a group of 12 and landed up in disguise.. this is my 3rd trip to Goa and the manager suggests that the electricity supply issue is from state electricity board.. the most funniest part.. pl dont plan u r stay at all at lemon tree...

Very pleasant hotel on the main 'beach road'. Clean, reasonably sized, quiet rooms and two good restaurants plus a great pub overlooking the pool and garden. Great number of eateries in the area but we found the in-house restaurant to be really good. Do try their roasted pork rib; excellent! Staff, without exception, were very helpful and attentive. I must mention Naresh who was outstanding. The beach is accessed through a secured gate at the bottom of the property. If you are picturing a tropical palm lined beach you will be let down however if your holiday entails good pubs and a truly holiday vibe its a great place. This is not an upmarket resort but many upmarket hotels in India would kill to have the staff employed at this resort.
