Great location, clean apartments, pool and all in very decent price, what more do you want. Both Vagator beach (about 1 km) and Chapora Fort ((about 1.4 km) are close by and in fact walk-able after sunset. Also with both The Mango Tree and Dipty's Bar and Restaurant nearby, your late dinner is also taken care of. Ambey who handles the reservations and logistics is a helpful guy.
Stayed at the Hotel for 2 days during my visit. It's located on prime location near the beach. Nice ambience, clean rooms, washrooms, beautiful room with all amenities. Really loved the hospitality of the staff..!!
We had a very pleasant stay at this apartment, it's quite basic but has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The staff and owner were very helpful and sorted out any issues we had. Breakfast was delivered to our room each morning which was great. The location is ideal to explore North Goa and is also only about 1km from Vagator beach.
This place is idle for couples and family for stay in goa. Not to far away from the most happening places in goa. The stay, the hospitality and the support provided was great.. it's a home away from home. .. Looking forward for all my stay in goa at the same place....
We stayed at the place and its not good. We went in a group and had booked through OTP, but needed an extra room and had to book after reaching. There are no facilities provided, no one sits at the so called reception, room didnt had hot water facility and no proper service. The remote controls had not batteries, one small soap provided in name of toiletry and no tea/coffee maker. No power backup, the swimming pool shown is in neighbors property. The room also smelled misty. Though due to off-season the charges were not high, but still will never go back to the place. BTW no complimentary breakfast of wifi provided.
While on a 2 week mini tour of Goa, we decided to book this place as a starting point for the free wifi/breakfast and pretty quaint surroundings with pool!!! looking lovely, it wouldnt matter if it was a trek to get anywhere ... Ha ha ha ..,, what a joke!!! NO WIFI ... NO BREAKFAST ... And no recption area apart from a table at the bottom of the stairs where no one sits! And we couldnt even see a bar which was part of the 'prison' block! ... And the pool, it was behind railings and linked to next door. On arrival no-one explained where the bar/breakfast was and when we asked about the wifi we were told 'downstairs' .... There is NO communal 'downstairs' in the place! The only good thing about the place is that the rooms were clean, there was a lock on a drawer in the wardrobe for personal stuff and air con and we had free water (and a candle when Vagator had a power cut). If u want basic - tou can get much much cheaper and bearer to the beach. If u want the ammenities, go else where - or PLEASE sort yourselves out!!
First of all there is no lift, no room service, no security, no swimming pool and picture shown is not where you get to stay. They have uploaded pictures of their neighbour's property on their website. The Vagator beach is more than a km away... And Calungute and Bags are more than 12 km away. The person you will talk to on phone (Amar) will never be there to be seen he is a virtual coordinator!! When we reached the guard who is common to all 4 properties greeted us to lead us to room which had no lift and room was on 2nd floor. Thank God he agreed to pick up some of our luggage! We paid 7000 pet night for a suit where the AC was only in room so practically living area was useless. Gas kept leaking and since no exhaust so post using kitchen you need to sniff LPG till it's all over! No geyser either so if you dream of hot water shower at end of tiring day... It's dream. Come to complimentary breakfast and you will be amazed that there is a cap on what and how much you can order. One item per person is what you are eligible for. They cater that through nearest motel... The best part was you need to eat that cold as it will be delivered to you in a poly bag.... I DON'T recommend this to anyone ever.
When we were planning Goa vacation with our 1 year old son, we were worried, that how he would cope with hotel food. After all this was the first time he was really way from home for more than a day. I was thinking about service apartments and came across Goan Clove. I contacted them and booked a "Double Deluxe Ensuite". It was nice and homely experience from check-in till check-out. Ashirbad (owner) arranged a temp room thru Xavier(manager) for us, as we were bit early for our schedule check-in time. They were both really decent and reasonable people. Overall our trip with our kid was superb, because of Goan Clove. I would recommend this to all the parents who are postponing Goa plans for their toddler. Pros: 1. Vagator beach just walking distance away 2. Equipped with required Crockery and cooking gas. 3. Most important its homely, just like a second home in Goa Cons: I didn't find one Yes but things that I felt could have added more fun to our trip: 1. Elevator: If your room is on 1 or 2 floor, you will have to take stairs no elevator. 2. Swimming pool: make it Complimentary.
I found these 1 bhk appts an ideal place to stay ,since you only go to your room to crash when in goa.they are spacious and neat and fitted with a fridge and microwave.theres a pool too that guests can use.besides the location is perfect.baga and anjuna are within 5kms.theres a chic supermarket too closeby.if u want scooters just tell the watchman and he will arrange them fr you.for the price id say they are a very good bet.
We booked this hotel through a UK booking agency and from start to finish it was a hideous experience. We booked to stay for 4 nights from 29 December. On our arrival the hotel manager was deeply unpleasant and said he had no knowledge of our booking. I duly provided documentary evidence of our booking. He then had to provide alternative accommodation on our first night. We were charged 40000 INR (£100 sterling per night) for four nights which is vastly over-priced for the area. The building was an ugly concrete block. The room was spacious but needed a spruce up. It had shabby furniture and the bathroom was stained and would benefit with being bleached or a refurb! The towels provided were cheap and no thicker then a tea towel. The hotel manager insisted on being paid cash and denied taking visa. The booking agency had confirmed that the hotel would take visa. The manager denied this and provided no reason why this wasn't the case. I had to contact the UK agency to seek an explanation and ask them what I should do. And then he had the nerve to keep asking me when I was going to pay him. He should be sent on a customer service course. And finally when we asked him to provide a taxi on our departure he quoted 1500 INR more than the standard rate. I would strongly advise you not to stay here as there is plenty of accommodation in the area which is higher in standard. We would have stayed in alternative accommodation but we were contractually committed to staying here.
