Everything was great! Nice place and was well equipped. Nice linens and beds. Easy access. Glen Ellen is a great little village. Awesome restaurants and a nice pub. Jack London state park is a great place to visit.

Great property. Lots of different places to sit and enjoy the quiet outdoors. Kitchen was nicely stocked for everything we needed for Thanksgiving!

Beautiful, quiet and comfortable

This was the perfect sport for a relaxing mom’s trip. Short drive to market, wineries, light hikes. We loved soothing creek running in the back. Just wish that the weather had allowed us to really take advantage of the outdoor spaces. Hot tub was nice!

House was beautiful. Bigger than described. Three full bedrooms plus another room that could be 4th. Kitchen was well stocked. Grocery was close by. lovely place.

Family time and winery

We had a lovely stay at this well appointed home on a quiet creek setting. The indoor and outdoor space is wonderful. The home is very comfortable. The kitchen has nice appliances, and the dining area is very spacious with a big country table and adjacent breakfast area. The bedrooms are very roomy, and the bedroom with en-suite bathroom has an open shower concept and claw foot tub, as well as an adjoining office. We enjoyed our time here visiting family and the local Sonoma wineries. Would definitely stay here again.

Wine Tour Getaway

This is a fantastic home! The place is well maintained with an incredible kitchen and wonderful and varied outdoor spaces and is on a creek with a constant waterfall to enjoy. Bathrooms seem to be recently updated and the place is stylishly furnished. Grea parking right on site. Glen Ellen is located centrally in the wine country area and the little town of Glen Ellen is charming itself. We had dinner there one night as we didn’t want to drive to Napa or Yountville and we ate at the Fig Cafe and Bar and it was amazing. We’d love to come back someday and build more time into our itinerary to simple stay at the house and enjoy its features more.

It was comfortable and impeccably clean, with plenty of towels and a well-equipped kitchen. Our family of four had plenty of room to spread out. We enjoyed our evenings on the deck, and were treated to visits from deer and turkeys. The location was perfect for touring wine country. We look forward to visiting again.

Overall a Nice Place

Nice place, very quiet, pretty much as described. However a couple things, A lot of rules. Can not use the fire pit, fireplace and they show the stream behind the house but they don't want you to go down to it. House is very close to neighbors and it seems they have had issues with renters in the past which may have caused some of this. The place has a great kitchen and master bath is nice, heated floor and open shower. If you are going to Napa every day, it is a little bit of a trek, but this house was reasonably priced compared to Napa homes, so it was worth it.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful and comfortable home, as pictured, with most everything we needed. We loved the outdoor spaces, and open living areas. Small details, such as spider webs, to be expected this close to the creek, and water on the floor after showers, to be expected with open and frameless enclosures, were the only niggling details. It's apparent with the strict noise rules, rental contract, outdoor noise monitors, and anti-rental signs posted by neighbors that there have been issues here in the past. Sad, because this was a perfect choice for a group like ours. We don't want a hotel setting, we want to feel like a home away from home. A place to relax, unwind, and enjoy each other's company. A watch the deer from the deck with morning coffee, and enjoy a glass of newly discovered wine with a soak in the hot tub in the evening kind of place. We hate that others take advantage and ruin this concept, and appreciate that we were still able to enjoy what this home has to offer.

Quaint House for 1-2 Couples

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house was very unique. The exterior was really cool. Loved having a hot tub since most nights and mornings were chilly. The interior is decorated rustic. The master has a king, the 1st guest room has a full size bed and the 2nd guest room has 2 twin beds. The guest bath is next to the master bedroom, so it’s down the hallway from the guest room that has the full bed. It was perfect for our small group. Quiet street. It fit what we were looking for after long days of wine tastings.

Small things that needed attention in the house but did not detract from our stay: The side gate to enter the backyard wouldn’t close properly or lock. There was a loose stone on the footpath/steps outside. The downstairs game room was full of spiders and unusable. Fridge and pantry had some leftover items from other guests, which was useful, but some items were long expired.

There is an overspray issue in master shower possibly with shower head selection causing water to go outside shower area. Musty smell under master sink indicates leak present or past. Disappointed with inability to use fireplace inside or fire pit outdoors when they clearly have been used recently and not advertised as display only. But we really enjoyed our stay overall in the beautiful home and neighbors next door were very nice.

There were just three of us from different parts of the States and Canada having a long overdue reunion in wine country and this home was the perfect home base. The house is bright, cheerful, quiet, and within easy drive to all of the best wineries that Sonoma has to offer. I would highly recommend.

Excellent place in wine country

This was one of the most beautiful places we have stayed at in the Sonoma area. The layout was beautiful with stunning views of the backyard area. The house was well stocked with things like spices, condiments, dishes, utensils, and pots and pans. We found nothing missing in the kitchen. The beds were very comfortable, towels were plush, and bathrooms were well stocked. Hot tub was a great plus at the end of the day when the evenings cooled off. There seems to have been previous problems with renters and noise. This is a quiet neighborhood which we loved. I always treat my rental neighbors as I would my own neighbors. No one wants to live next door to a party house so I totally understand all the rules. We would definitely come back to this gem in the quiet countryside! Thanks for sharing your home with us!!

Wonderful stay in Glen Ellen

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful Glen Ellen home. It was close to the Sonoma Valley vineyards and breweries that we visited, and there was lots of space to relax and spend time together.

Family vacation

Wonderful house; we had 6 adults, aging parents/aunt uncle, self and spouse and the house was an amazing place to gather and spend quality time together. Absolutely beautiful property, well stocked, we had everything we needed to cook meals and hang out. A very peaceful neighborhood and we kept quiet as outlined for the stay. Saw deer in creek behind us and just enjoyed the nature and beauty of the home. It is a drive from anywhere, but all the more why it was quiet and peaceful. Thanks for the use of your property!
