Friendly staff and clean facilities. The room was a little cold and we couldn't find the temperature control.

Clean spacious room, comfortable bed. Not sure if the heater worked, room didn't get warmer after we turned it on.

Beautiful location. Staff was friendly. Room nice and clean. It was quiet and convenient.

Stay here as it is close to place when working in area Perfect and the food next door is excellent

Great area / location for a first trip exploring the area. Pool nice. Basic rooms. configuration of lighting weird. Light switches in awkward locations and not very many outlets. Not up to code. wi fi in and out. generally okay. no real complaints.

Not that guests arriving late to their rooms is the hotels responsibility but if the rooms had carpeting it might alleviate some of the noise caused by guests coming into their rooms in the middle of the night. That and having guests walking by your room having a full on conversation as they walk down the hallway to their rooms at 1am made for a night without sleep. What happened to being respectful of others knowing full well you are walking past rooms that people are sleeping in.

Great place had a nice stay Saloon food and service was awesome

Plain basic old style hotel in a great location. Glen Ellen is a fun quirky little area. Room was spacious and comfortable enough. There is a pool and on site bar/restaurant with many places within walking distance.

For the price it was not the visual experience I expected. The nice phrase i would use is old and rustic. About the style as a old motel 6 renamed to lodge. I think 300 a night was a little too much.

the room is pretty and is showing aging changes. The wood floor doesn't show but the color of socks and feet do . there is no breakfast. The best item was the Italian restaurant associated with the hotel.

Comfortable bed and pillows. Beautiful community. Impacted by fires. Important to support

Good experience at this hotel. Nice sized room and very comfortable. Bed was excellent. Lovely area and quiet. Convenient market across the street. Saloon was great being connected to hotel and good for food and drinks. Due to our late arrival we even checked in there and the bartender was very helpful and hospitable. The only downside was that it was a bit far from Napa /St Helena and all that's there. Sonoma has plenty of wineries and places to see, too but it was a challenge when we had to get over the mountain road when wanting to visit that other side.

A plus for us was the coin laundry just across the street.

Located at the base of the road that takes you to the Jack London State Historic Park. Rustic~~ Check in was efficient and friendly. Informed that pool was working but not heated, also spa was heated, but no jets. Room nice and very comfortable bed, tv, refrig, wifi. Ample parking without additonal fee. Also a plus, the Lodge shares an additonal parking lot with the Wolf House Saloon ~ .

Staff was not friendly or welcoming. Some of the towels and cotton balls had dirt/debris on them, as though they had been dropped outside. Hot tub closes at an early 9pm. Overall a nice place though and close to some good restaurants. The market across the street deserves a five plus star review though!

The hotel was full but peaceful and quiet. I was v/tired from a long drive but got to rest We will stay here again.

We chose this hotel because of the positive ratings and the fact that they DID NOT accept pets. Pets on carpets in hotel rooms are not for us with asthma, etc. It is a quaint older hotel surrounded by the woods, nice pool, great jacuzzi, and okay continental breakfast. The plus was the hard wood floors and the fact that the room was free from dust.......our air-conditioning was broken the first night. . it was awful...we had to get a fan from the night time worker . . to put in the window The huge negative for us is that the bathroom had not been renovated in over 30 years......looks like original toilet seat, nice tile and porcelain tub....However---there was black mold near the window and the smell of the bathroom was musty and moldy....So, that is a deterrent for us to return. .. if they would update the bathrooms then we would be back in a heartbeat. . .

Perfect experience staying here for my boyfriend's birthday wine extravaganza! Adorable rooms within walking distance to a couple wineries and restaurants and a short drive from the major vineyards and Jack London State Park! Will return!
