It was our first night in Scotland and what a great place to start our trip. The room was nicely decorated and comfy with the restaurant right next door. Food was great and we loved being able to walk the nearby trails and view the lake.

Oak View Inn review

Booked a superior room which was in a separate cottage. Parking easy, room lovely and clean and comfortable. Had a view of loch lomond too and a balcony to sit outside if we wanted to. Nice ensuite too.

Shame fairy lights on all night as the blinds didn’t quite fit the window so lights shining in room. Restaurant- lovely meal, brilliant friendly service there. Well deserved tip. The hotel wasn’t ageist but it’s very much a young weekend stay for young couples/singles. I was the only oldie in Coffee shop this morning too. No complaint but might help other solo travellers.

The hotel is fine and has a good restaurant but the Internet in the ABER cottage area of the property has extremely poor internet services. So if you need internet and are assigned to this part of the hotel you will have a bad experience.
