On arrival it was quite busy at check in we were second in the queue and the reception indicates for us to move to receptionist further along .. she didn't look up appeared to be doing something no an computer. We were told to move again to another queue .. that queue we got ignored and they kept serving the business men checking in. Eventually I asked to speak to some one to make a complaint ! At that we were checked ina little quicker but not a lot of info given about our stay . Breakfast spa etc just here's your room keys .. the room was clean and comfortable. The beds exceptionally comfy . We were there for my birthday and to see five .. and chose this hotel for location which is perfect. However we were woken all night by a door banging the door to the lift doesn't have a silencer on it and omg it's noisy . Breakfast was good. Usual hotel buffet and the staff were pleasant. All in all we would of rated higher if not for our first impression which really soured the stay

The checkin was easy, the room was lovely but needed a blanket in the cupboard. The room was clean but there was a smell of sewage when we first walked in. The breakfast was good for British people. The staff were lovely

The staff were very helpful and polite, the rooms were clean and tidy, perfectly adequate for our stay, and the breakfast was excellent. Well done to everyone involved at the Crowne Plaza Hotel.

Better check in service on busy days. Although five staff on desk it took 40 minutes in a Que. perhaps information on customers address and signatures can be done online via check in to save ques and would mean a better customer experience at the very start of their stay.

When we arrived the staff were very friendly and pleasant and extremely helpful although the dinner option was £79 on here but we paid £144 for it at the hotel. I did ask for the chocolate platter to be in the room and it wasn’t but that wasn’t a massive deal. It was lovely ourside when we arrived also!

Everything was first class just let down in the morning with one lift being serviced then the other lifts didn’t work door to lifts wouldn’t close so had to carry all our luggage and walk down from the 12th floor . Stairs are also not very clearly sign posted on this floor I couldn’t comment on any other floor but incase of an emergency this could be deemed unsafe especially if anyone had mobility problems. Other than this our stay was great . Please don’t think I’m moaning but the toilet would be a little big better with a toilet brush but I can imagine what states some people may leave these in and also if there was a hook or a rail for your towel in the bathroom as you need to get out the shower or lean over to reach your towel . Again please don’t think I’m a moan . I would definitely come back and suggest for friends .Just a technical issue .x
