Room was okay, you can tell that the rooms are getting old and a bit tired. A need of a refresh in all honesty but are more than okay for a short stay. Staff were brilliant, made checking in and out easy and were really helpful with keeping our bags after we checked out until we needed to leave the area. Only one working lift the entire time we were there so long waiting times to get to and from our floor, and the mirror in the lift was cracked which was not a great sight

Check in very smooth. All done on ipad. Receptionist very helpful with a nice manner. Room spotless and very quiet considering located on front. Did struggle a bit with at first as everything controlled by ipad. Paid extra for breakfast but have had better choice of cooked items. Did not see any gluten free options, although to be fair I didn't ask. Hotel is quirky and is well located for all amenities.

The room does not have the ability to open the windows so the room gets very stuffy. There is no facility to turn off the ventilation so the sound of that carries on through the night. Only one lift was working during our stay so it was a hassle to get up to the room and back.

Nice room and atmosphere. Shower and bed all good. However request that some lights aren’t controlled with the iPad so when waking up early morning or in the night for the toilet to can put a small light on to see, rather than all lights or try and set one on low with the iPad.
