Beautifully renovated apartment in the lively heart of the Old Town, the Barri Vell.The apartment was completely renovated in 2022 with great attention to detail. Traditional elements have been preserved and/or partly restored to their original state.It is spacious, has all modern conveniences and has three bedrooms and two complete bathrooms. One of the bedrooms also has a desk (for homeworkers).

The apartment is located on the first floor of a historic building with a spacious entrance but no elevator. However, the stairs are not very high and steep.You enter the apartment in the living/dining room. There is a dining table for six and a spacious, comfortable sofa. There is a smart TV and of course there is fast internet throughout the apartment. There is a powerful air conditioning unit in the living room and ceiling fans in the bedrooms.The kitchen is fully equipped with all modern conveniences and had everything you need for a pleasant and comfortable stay.There are three bedrooms. The master bedroom has a full en-suite bathroom and a double bed. The second bedroom has a twin bed (two single beds next to each other), and the third bedroom also has a twin bed plus there is a spacious desk.The apartment has windows on two sides, and you can look out on Carrer de la Cort Reial and Carrer dels Ferreries Velles. There are balconies but they are not really spacious enough to sit on.

The apartment is located in Girona’s historic centre, the Barri Vell, where car access is restricted and parking is not allowed. In most areas, vehicles may only enter up to three times per quarter, so we recommend parking before check-in. While Girona is generally calm, some street noise and church bells may be heard if the windows are open. Late check-in is available for a fee. Great location but noisy

The location is great because you're in the heart of Old Town Girona. But that also means you are in the middle of a commercial area. We didn't mind the happy noise of resturant diners, but early morning trash picknip and other municipal projects were disruptive. There are no traditional Soanish roll down windiw shades, so you cant sleep with the windows open. I suggest thise get installed. A soothing white noise machine in each bedroom would be great. Those are inexpensive. The master bedroom does not have a curtain or door on the bathroom, which is awkward . I suggest at least puttingvip an inexpensive curtain rod and fabric curtain to create privacy.

Magazine-Worthy Interior Design

A star taken off was only for the check-in process. It is not for the faint of heart especially during the heat wave. The street was closed when we arrived so we could not drop our luggages off close to the flat. Dragging the luggages, kids and family down the cobblestone street, then going back to the car that was parked illegally to find public parking, and walking back was rough. Beside that part, the flat looks like it belongs in a magazine and the location was right in the center of old town. The A/C in the main room and ceiling fans in each room was enough to keep the flat nice and cool during the heat wave. The huge windows and balcony were very charming. All necessities (towels, laundry detergent, hand soap, shampoo / conditioner, shower gel, lotion, toilet papers, kitchen supplies, condiments, washer and dryer (dryer much appreciated), and hair dryer were all available. I would recommend staying here because we had a pleasant stay. Just be aware of the check in process/hike and this flat location is not for early sleepers. The restaurant below is pretty loud even pass 1AM.
