In June this year I was a guest at the Komune resort with other like minded people from East Side Crew, a fitness group from Bronte. Just the perfect place for the ideal holiday combining fitness and training facilities with luxurious relaxation areas. The "Hub" is the name of the area that includes a gym, yoga hut, lap pool and healthy eating bistro. We made full use of of this area, eating both breakfast and lunch in the bistro. When the training was finished we enjoyed the use of the beachside pool and had drinks and dinner in the restaurant overlooking the surf. There is also a spa with many relaxing treatments on offer. The accommodation is top class. Will be visiting again for sure.
I have just returned to Tasmania after staying at your wonderful resort. All the staff were beyond compare with any place i had stayed before, not just their attentiveness but there memory after meeting them just one time was a credit to them. All were the friendless and the most helpful. The room and food were great and you can be sure of seeing us again next year. Many thanks
Had an absolute blast of a week. Our kids (9&12) enjoyed playing in the kids free range area and the pool so much so that we hardly saw them. The health facilities and yoga are excellent, and the massages very relaxing. We stayed in 2 beach front pool suites which are the new addition to the resort and worth every penny. The food is priced extremely well and the Health Hub has some great healthy options you don't normally find in hotels. I can't recommend the staff highly enough. Nothing was a hassle, they always had a smile on their faces and went out of their way to make sure the guests where taken care off This is truly a piece of paradise and one that we will definitely be back to stay at again.
We loved every moment of our stay at Komune and we have the staff, the Komunity and the vibe of the place to thank for this. Our first stay at Komune as well seasoned Bali regulars. Eko, congratulations to all of your wonderful, accomodating and friendly staff for looking after us so well, during our stay. We're rebooking for next year and look forward to more yoga, relaxation, spa sessions for the adults and movie nights, swimming, jumping on the trampolines and skating (for the kids) in one of the most chilled out places we've come across. See you next year! Or sooner if we can ✌🏼️
This was our seventh stay at Komune and as per usual we just had to extend again.. We love it so much. It feels like you're on an island all by itself. No traffic and no noise... As soon as you walk into the resort you really do feel as if you are on a holiday. The staff are the best part of the Resort. They make you feel like an old friend rather than a guest. There is something for every member of the family, not just the surfers.. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are fantastic, overlooking the surf. Make sure you book in for a massage - the best...
We came back to Komune this year after staying last year. It's brilliant for our family (2 adults, 5 year old and 3 year old). The kids are happy at the Beach Club or Free Range and we could easily tag getting some individual time out to surf, go to yoga, use the gym or lie by the health hub pool. We didn't feel the need to leave for the 5 days we were there. We all slept so well compared to our stay in Batu Belig the week prior. Thanks Komune - you never disappoint and we'll be back next year if not before!!
The staff were so lovey, the food was delish! We stayed in one of the garden rooms up the back, although it is quite far away from the pool it was a short walk. We stayed here with a group of friends as they had their wedding at this hotel. it was great and we would definitely be back, such a relaxing and fun place to stay
Love this place. Service is fabulous food is great and not expensive unlike a lot of beach clubs. Resort looks beautiful we haven't stayed in the accommodation but I think next time we come to Bali we will stay here for a few days. Chilled music, comfy double size day beds and lovely staff. Great surf too. Will always come back whenever we visit Bali.
me and my family came here 3 days ago, we're from indonesia and they treat us so bad before we didn't get any sits because its full and 6 tables with 10 sits that are perfect for my family ( 10 peoples ) and they said we cant sit there, after 15minutes waiting finally we got sits, and when we sit the foreigners just sit there but before we cant sit there, and then the staff took the menu without saying excuse me. the fish and chips they said they use dori fish but we local knowed if it's carp because dori fish wont smell like soil... because only freshwater fish smell like soil that means it isnt sea fish dori so sorry but really dissapointed
We stayed at Komune for 2 nights in room 202. This is one of beachfront luxury pool suites. The room itself was beautiful, with quality fixtures and a luxurious feel. The king size bed was one of the most comfortable I've slept on. The shower was great with adequate water pressure. There is also a grand bath, which I didn't utilize but looked lovely. The spa staff can set up the bath for you at a cost with your choice of aromas (from memory, about 185000 which I thought was expensive). I did try the water pressure for the bath and it was poor, given the size of the bath it would take a good while to fill. The room itself had a mini bar, adequate storage for your luggage, safe, iron and ironing board. The most disappointing part was outside the room. Whilst it was an amazing view, it was not private at all. The 'horizon edge dip pool' was actually one long pool fronting 6 villas, with rope in between to deter guests from swimming out of the boundary of their room. You can clearly see into your neighbours room from the pool, and clearly hear their conversations if the were on their outside chairs. However the view of the beach was amazing. The beachfront pool villas are also up a few sets of stairs, so if you cannot walk up stairs these rooms would not be suitable for you. In saying that, concierge do deliver/pick up your bags so you do not have to navigate the stairs with your luggage. The main pool was nice, although could have used some attending to with weeds surrounding the edge. Service by the pool was satisfactory, with drinks and food available. The bar is nice, with just slightly about standard prices for drinks and food. While we did enjoy our stay, we wouldn't choose to stay here again as we found it far overpriced for Bali standards.
