With 3 bedrooms, a fully-equipped kitchen, and a backyard garden, this location is the perfect place to vacation with family or friends. Walk to the civil war battlefields, Gettysburg College, museums, shops, and restaurants. Take a short drive through the countryside to visit local wineries or Ski Liberty.

Old Orchard house was the site of some of the 2nd days battle of the Civil War with a barricade along Baltimore street and house to house fighting with troops shooting out of the attic of the house next door, this area has some great stories.

We had a great stay in this beautiful historic home. It's right on the main drag in Gettysburg. Beds very comfortable. Easy parking in the garage. Host was so gracious to let us check out late so we could enjoy the Memorial Day parade from the front porch. Highly recommend!

The property was exactly what my family was looking for, a period appropriate rental in historical downtown Gettysburg. The house was clean, easy to access and close to a wide array of amenities from sightseeing and shopping to dining. It was nice to be able to explore downtown and be within walking distance of our rental. Communication with the host was easy and always prompt. My family especially appreciated the suggestions from the host for dining and shopping options depending on our tastes. I would definitely recommend Old Orchard and if my family returns to Gettysburg I would absolutely rent this home again.
