What a wonderful place! This special cottage was perfect for me and my friends for the weekend. The canoes/kayaks, beautiful water, and dockside sauna were some of the highlights. The place came stocked with everything we needed, with lots of indoor and outdoor space to relax. The views were fantastic, and we spent an evening by the firepit looking at the spectacular night sky. Some things to note are that you shouldn’t drink the tap water (the hosts provided all the filtered water we needed), and the bedrooms have curtains rather than doors. Also, it may not be the most accessible for some people, as the rocks to the house are a bit slippery, and the stairs to the bedrooms on the second floor are so steep they are more of a ladder! However, for us, these were just charming quirks and they would not stop me from coming back. Lastly, I can’t thank Susie and Brian enough for their flexibility, responsiveness, and friendliness. I highly recommend this spot, and can’t wait to return next summer!
