The Windsor Hotel in Silver Plume was very clean with a very laid back atmosphere. The breakfast was delicious with homemade banana muffins and breakfast burritos. The owner Lauren was very welcoming giving us the feeling of staying at a old friends house. Walking around the town of Silver Plume seeing the original buildings from 1880s was Amazing.

we really enjoyed staying there, the owners were hospitable and helpful,

Wonderful place to stay overnight or a week. Monica and Jere are the perfect hosts, and we miss them already. The Historic Windsor is nestled in Silver Plume, a ghost town, that is surrounded by mountains. The Georgetown Train Depot is across the road, and you can walk (or drive) into Georgetown for meals and shopping! But, you will return to the Historic Windsor for the friendship and comfortable home feel.
