Stayed here for 3 nights. Check in was easy. Cindy and her staff are awesome. Rooms are clean and quiet and have the necessities that you need. This is not a Hilton hotel so if you’re a hotel snob, this is not the place for you. However, if you like being treated like family and a nice, quiet beach and/or pool, this is definitely your place. The on-site restaurant and bar is excellent and the ladies there bust their behind to help everyone. The food is great and reasonably priced for the location. Bet if all, the kalik is ice cold! Really appreciate everything and everyone there.

The cottages are very cute & comfy. It was not crowded for our stay. Cindy at the front desk is extremely nice & helpful. There is a pretty beach out front and a beautiful secluded turquoise white powdery sand beach just a short walk away. The food in the restaurant is very good.

Exuma is amazing ! Hideaway could use some updating, the decor does not make any sense to me the owners should invest some money into it. It's a shame because it's a big piece of property, The staff makes up for the outdated look all of them are very friendly Cindy is excellent! The location is good 15 minutes from the Airport. The Hotel beach is nice and private. Walk to Jolly Beach 3 Minutes away . But do go to Coco Plum Beach 30 minutes by car. And its true LOL Internet you need to hang around the the lobby not a big deal. Overall its nice !

We chose a 2-bedroom apartment and it was very spacious also with a spacious outside patio protected from mosquitos by nets and a private terrace on the beach. Recommended !

This hotel is overpriced, as are most on the island. But, I would recommend spending a little more money and getting a really nice hotel. I felt like I was being "nickeled and dimed" which wouldn't be so bad if the "resort" was nice. Check in isn't till 4 PM and checkout is at 11am. They don't allow for late check out and start charging you $25 for each additional hour of stay, even if they are not fully occupied. They also charge you an "activities fee" of over $50 but there is nothing to do on their beach. The water is not like the water on the rest of the island--it is murky with seaweed and unappealing. The "complimentary" breakfast is awful. The food looks and tastes like it has been sitting out for days. The villas look cute but are not very functional--can't take a hot shower, worn towels, bathroom faucet not working, tried to cool room with air conditioning but it was set at 78 degrees. Also, Hideaways is not in a great location. The closest place to walk is a half-mile away. They have a free shuttle service that takes you into Georgetown but that stops running about 5 PM and then you have to pay a cab to get anywhere. I do highly recommend going to Shirley's at the fish fry which is a half mile down the road. I do highly recommend going to Shirley's at the Fish Fry to eat which is a half mile down the road. The food is excellent and the service terrific. I don't recommend eating at Splash which is Hideaways restaurant
