Stayed for one night prior to joining a cruise. Hotel was clean enough, although as a others have said, it is a bit tired and hardly worthy of 4 stars.Bed was comfortable. Ate here in the evening, mainly because there was no alternative nearby. Food was acceptable but nothing to get excited about. Breakfast was OK, unlike a previous contributor we were not rationed how much coffee we drank, it was from a machine and you could have as much as you wanted. Location is good for the ships, but poor for anything else. One small shopping mall. There were signs to a lighthouse and a coastal path, after a short time you came to a fence with no further access. Despite being only a short distance from the cruise terminal, you have to take a taxi, a rip-off at 15 euros.
About as glamorous as an old Motel 6. Had to pay for WiFi every 12 hours. It’s a 2 Star Hotel. We were only there one night, otherwise we would have changed hotels. Rooms are bleak. Bathroom left a lot to be desired. Location was ok. Service was not bad. Would not recommend.
The rooms are old and dingy. They desperately need to be renovated. There is a small mall across a parking lot that has a grocery store, MacDonalds, and a few other shops. Other than that there is nothing interesting within easy walking distance.
The rooms look aged, the air conditioning was not working and the bed was lumpy. On the positive side, it is cheap, not so far from downtown, and breakfast is acceptable. The best part is that the staff is really friendly, but this doesn't make up for the uptagging of the 4 star rating it supposedly has.
The hotel has a good location but in an uninteresting part of the city, It is located in the right part of the port ( looking from the sea) . From a small porch in front of the entrance is a beautiful view of the port, the ships but the rest of the environment is totally uninteresting. Around are wide streets, overpasses, concrete, inexplicable buildings....and nearlly is is very samll shop centar with only few brend shop, but in it, in tabbaco shop you can buy ticket fror metro, public bus. The good, very good of hotels posiitions is that you can go to the old part od Genova town by foot verry easy with max 30 min. And public bus and metro station is very nearly., just few minutes. The hotel outside and exterior does not look interesting or attractive, the facade faded from moisture from the sea but inside the hotel is very clean, looking comfortable, warm and pleasant. Furniture and decoration are harmonious but simple. In the rooms too. There is a carpet on the floor in the room, tv , free safe box,in the closet there is a reserve pillow and a blanket, TV, air conditioning, fridge..The entrance rooms door lock is with the key. The bathroom is nice and clean with shower cabin, hair dryer, towels, soap, shampoo, toilet paper... Rooms do not have terraces, the window can be opened. Some rooms have view at the old lighthouse. The hotel has two elevator. Personal and friendly, breakfast rich in everywhere in Italy.Wi Fi is charged and signal is not good. Conclusion-the hotel have good location, it is clear and very comfortable for rest after day spent wolking in old part of Genova. It is nothing special to spent long hours in hotel or around the hotel.
Rooms are decent but they could use a renovation. They charge for wifi 2€ per device for 12h of usage. Breakfast buffet was wonderful but lunch and dinner prices are a bit pricey. Some rooms have a view over the city harbor but other look over a parking. It is just 2 metro stops from the city centre. This can be easily done with a 25mins walk.
We stayed one night. Some of the staff not friendly. Outside temperature was 41°. Not worked air conditioning. We changed the room but that room also air conditioning not worked properly. Carpets are dirty. Bed covers are old. It doesn't have **** hotel quality at all. Not recommended.
An old but average budget hotel right next to the Genoa Harbor and where you can greet the ferries. The service is not bad with well-intentioned staff. Beds and furniture must renovated.Breakfast's poor. P / P: 6
The staff was super nice and helpful. The location is very beautiful with a view on the harbor and close to the main area of the city. Great breakfast with Italian and American choices. We even had a lunch and dinner and the food was great. The rooms are comfortable and nice and have bathrooms with strong water pressure and hot water.
We stayed here before our cruise and then on our return due to the fact it is close to the terminal and it was a Tripadeal booking. The lift didn't work so had to carry our case up 3 flights of stairs, staircase was grubby and lighting was poor , room was in need of a refit. Curtains ripped lampshade cracked and the room smelled musky. The breakfast was of a low standard.Staff did not speak much English so made it hard to communicate.
