Domaine de Souladiès, an Ode to Serenity and Adventure in Tarn et Garonne

The Souladiès estate is in Genebrières, 15 km east of Montauban. This large building is almost a square of 30 meters side. The cottage occupies the north / east and south / east facades and is entirely on the ground floor. The pool is in line with the angle of these two facades. A bright kitchen with functional furniture "raw wood" gives it its character. The equipment, complete, is arranged in a rational way which offers a great comfort. It opens onto a small covered terrace where you can enjoy your breakfast. A very bright living room with generous spaces awaits you. On one side a table will allow you to find yourself around a good meal. On the other side of the chairs and a sofa await you for rest and relaxation. Two large windows open onto a large covered terrace that extends the stay. This "magic" place gives access to the park and the swimming pool. This is the focal point of the house, the rendezvous of all, from mid-season. A first door leads to the room "La Souladiès" where antique furniture embellish the space and contribute to the feelings of well being and comfort. A private shower room is dedicated to him as well as independent toilets. A second door opens on the room "Sunflower". Color that corresponds to that of its walls. This brings him gaiety and peps. You will find 2 beds of 90 closable. This room also has a private shower room with WC. A third glass door gives access to the room "La Montalbanaise". The morning sun highlights the marriage of old briquettes and lime renders. A room where life is good. It also has a private bathroom with toilet. Once outside you will be free to enjoy 1 Ha of park and 70 Ha of private forest.

A wonderful tranquil retreat. The house is beautifully furnished with a very well equipped kitchen and spacious en-suites. Lovely pool over a beautiful view of rolling, rural Quercy. The wide lawn gently falls into woods and you can watch birds cruise across the vale. It is quick to get to main roads so you can get about on day trips but always so nice to return to this peaceful haven. Jean-François is very helpful, quick to respond and on hand. This really suited us..our adult children and we had the space we needed to relax and enjoy this lovely area of France.

Superbe gite plein de charme

Avec 2 couples d'amis, nous avons passé 4 jours au domaine de Souladiès. Le propriétaire nous a accueilli avec gentillesse et un grand professionnalisme. Cette grande maison du XVIII a été restaurée avec beaucoup de goût. Le salon/salle à manger est grand, lumineux et bien décoré. Il est totalement conforme aux photos. Les 3 chambres possèdent toutes leur salle de bain et leur WC privés. Elles sont spacieuses et confortables. La literie est de qualité. Le gite d'une propreté irréprochable est suréquipé. Il se trouve dans une région touristique riche en sites à visiter. Nous avons donc passé un agréable séjour dans cette maison chaleureuse. Merci au propriétaire et à son épouse.
