Laurel Inn was a great place to stay for our long Christmas weekend in Gatlinburg! Being as how the wildfires swept through town just a month earlier, a lot of buildings and structures were destroyed. Matter of fact, fire burned everything across the road and behind the building. In talking with the owner while we were there, they even lost their own house, but they were thankful to still be alive. But, regarding our stay... Our room was great! Clean, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, with a kitchenette and living room. We had a nice view of the mountains from our balcony as well. It was a convenient walk to downtown Gatlinburg, close to an Irish Pub that does karaoke that we were able to enjoy, and a Ripley's attraction too. The staff at Laurel Inn are very accommodating and friendly, making you feel at home! I'm definitely looking forward to staying there again!

Went after the fires in Gatlinburg and the staff were more concerned about me and my stay even though a lot of them lost in the fires

This was our second time staying at Laurel Inn. We love this place.

We had a wonderful time. The room was clean and well appointed with everything you could need.

Hotel was great. Fireplace did not work but everything else was great. Walking was a good distance further than we thought but it was manageable for young couples

I rented a room for family coming into town for my wedding and I could not believe my eyes when I went to help them get checked in. The room hasn't been updated since 1980 if then. Wall paper falling off the walls, horrible furniture, glass sliding door wouldn't hardly open to the balcony and it was so bad we went and made accommodations at another hotel that was actually nice. Do not recommend and I will post on other sites to warn people.

The hotel and rooms were clean and comfortable. We had a wonderful surprise of a little bear out in the trees out front. Room had a great view of the mountain and downtown area. My only problem was that the blanket on the bed I was sleeping in was raggedy and very worn and looked more like it was used outside a lot! Other than that everything was very good!

Easy walk to downtown. Very affordable. We had a 1 bedroom and it was roomy. Our only complaint is that we would have liked to use the fireplace but it didn't work. It was clean and pretty well up to date. Each room/condo is different but ours was good. We would recommend.

Hotel very nicely located, close to downtown Gatlinburg. Advertised as within walking distance to downtown, but what they fail to tell you is there are stairs to downtown, 174 of them! That's fine for younger guests but for the older 65 plus guests a bit much, we had our Mother with us and she's 90 yoa so that was out of the question. Linda at the front desk was very nice and helpful, she's a keeper! We found our room to be very dated and not as described on your site. If we go again we will book directly with the Inn as we found out they have much nicer rooms that have been updated and don't have the old nasty carpets.

Our stay in room 406 was awesome. Linda at the front desk was always helpful and answered any questions we had. We could not have had a better stay. Including the bear that walked across the parking lot our first night

Stay ok ,not great ,location good, just disappointed in Internet service ,which is something that is needed, it only worked randomly in the condo ,only in front room if then, very disappointed

The stay was great. The room was nicer than expected. It rained the whole time we were there so we didn't really get to see everything the laurel inn had to offer but overall it was a very nice place.

Yes, it met expectations. Very reasonably priced!! Room was dated as expected but very clean and can walk to Gatlinburg from room! We loved it.

My family and I had a great time at Laurel Inn Condominiums. The staff was great! We were able to walk from the condo to the sites in Gatlinburg.

Staff was awesome, room was clean and nice location. The 1 bedroom standard was just a little small for my taste.

Great place to stay! Room was very clean and the staff was friendly. This place is in a great location. About a 10 min walk from the main strip. It's close enough to be convenient but far enough away to be quiet. I wouldn't want to stay any closer to town. The overly loud motorcycles will deafen you when they come roaring through at midnight. I never heard the first one while staying here. For the money, you can't beat this place!! The only thing I would like to see different is coffee either in the lobby or in the rooms. They had coffee makers but no coffee to be found. Last time at my stay here it was offered in the lobby but this time it was absent. The lady at the front desk told me if wasn't offered any longer. I definitely would HIGHLY recommend!! I love this place and will for sure stay again. Thanks for a wonderful trip!!

Good Place. Absolutely great Staff. Quiet and Nice. Love it

The Laurel Inn worked perfectly for an off-campus stay at Arrowmont. The view was lovely, Linda in the office was friendly and a great source of information. We didn't get the King bed we wanted, but got an in room Jacuzzi and fireplace instead. The location was close enough to walk to restaurants and the school, but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful.

Great view, very clean and good location, but very dated. The green carpet and peeling mauve wallpaper hadn't been updated since the 80's. It was a close walk, but don't know that we will stay again.
