the hotel was really nice and the bed was oh so comfortable! I really liked the balcony overlooking the mountain stream.

No one in the office upon our 9 pm arrival. Front desk person finally showed up. Told my husband he could park anywhere. Husband left to find a parking spot. The front desk person then says he needs a placard to park. I asked him why he didn’t give the placard to my husband before he left to park. He would not answer my question. My impression of him was insolence and begrudging. Upon entering the room it smelled of pot. The floor of the room was sticky. The toilets smelled like public toilets.

The room was spacious and clean. The beds and pillows were comfortable. Ok breakfast to get you started for the day. Loved the creek running below the balconies. Would definitely stay here again.

The front desk person was not very friendly or helpful. The property itself is very nice. Best view you could ask for! Rooms were nice and clean. Parking is a pain as there is not a lot of room around the hotel. I would stay here again.

Convenient to Downtown, but outdated.
The location was convenient to Downtown Gatlinburg. Depending on where you want to walk it took 10-20minutes. Faster than driving! The hotel is outdated but location is beautiful. The pool was horrible. I have never had my eyes burn so bad from the chemicals not being balanced correctly. So, we were unable to use the pool.

The LOUDEST motel you will ever stay in. The room is very close to the street so you will listen to cars and motorcycles revving up their engines all night. When that stopped the ambulance and police sirens were going off. The front desk lady really knew how to make us feel unwelcome. Looking at us like we were bothering her for checking in. Besides that the room was decent. The beds felt like concrete but it was clean enough. Won’t stay here again.

The hotel is older and, as other reviews mention, you can hear the street noise but the river views are well worth it! Room was clean and the staff was nice and friendly, with the exception of the clerk at check-in (he wasn't rude but was far from friendly). It's also conveniently located to downtown Gatlinburg. I would definitely stay again.
