We were very well satisfied with this hotel. The location was great as it was within easy walking distance to the Nimes attractions we wanted to visit. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Front desk staff was very helpful in providing information and suggestions for eating / shopping in the area. Thanks. Very good value for the money.

Good basic hotel in Nimes, comfortable and clean

Great basic hotel, family owned, super close to everything in Nimes. Don't expect luxury, this is a reasonably priced hotel with really nice staff but it's not a luxury four or five star hotel. It was clean and mainly quiet, located on a side street. No real cons, breakfast could have been better for the price, but otherwise no complaints.

The hotel is in fair condition . The wi fi is poor and difficult to use . The staff are pleasant but not generally very helpful with the description of the area . The cost of the room was reasonable .

Quick stay in Nimes

The location of the hotel is quite close to the railway station as well as to the Arena. Personnel was helpful and kind, English was spoken. We had a room at the top with a small balcony and enjoyed sitting there in the evening. Breakfast was self-serve, coffee came as ordered, with the usual ingredients as served in France.

Wonderful stay

A wonderful four-night stay. The room was large with some good amenities including fridge, kettle and tea. Location was excellent being only a pleasant 5 minute stroll to the Arena. Close to the bus and train station as well and easy to find. Wonderful hosts who have a wealth of information and are English which was a true help!

Bathroom was overgrown with black mold and had obviously been that way for a long time. The whole room reeked of mold smell. The whole room was beyond old and tired. Needs new mattress, other furniture needs to be changed from something bought at a yard sale. Just a sad and tired room.

A basic hotel but served the purpose. Comfy bed, good amount of room. Only slight criticism carpets could do we a really good clean, as badly marked in places. And freezer box in fridge didnt work. Would defo stay again. easy walk to the centre of Nimes and the arena. Lovely helpful English owners. Looking to return next year for my birthday.

Friendly and helpful staff at Des Tuileres

The owners and staff were very helpful and friendly. "Continental" breakfast buffet provided at an extra cost had a nice variety of fresh fruit, pastries, cereals and beverages. The best bonus of staying at Des Tuileres was the fact that they were English speaking and made great suggestions for restaurants and places to see in Nimes.
