The room was clean but very, very outdated. Definitely in need of renovation and new furniture. We had two double beds in the room and one was broken. It sank to the floor when you sat on it so we wouldn't dare sleep on it. I did tell the front desk staff and they made a note of it.

If I could give a minus number it would be that - Waller unglued throughout room - dirty and dingy- loud and unkempt hotel - do not spend a dime here - terrible + + cobweb by curtains- dirty visible in radiator footing - bedding thin and worn out I’d like a refund from Expedia as this hotel should not be represented by you

The main elevator was not working , we were sent to the elevator at the back of the hotel. Took the elevator to the second floor, after looking around, this was still not the correct level. Went to the next floor and still had to carry our suitcases down half a flight. Our room was as far from this location as you could get and the hotel is so convoluted we had to go through doors and ramps to get to our room. Thus hotel is very noisy. You can hear people talking and coughing in the room across. This person left at 4:45 am banging the door and exit door. Then a semi truck started outside our room and idled for 15 minutes. The worst sleep we have had in 2 weeks in Newfoundland. I would not recommend this hotel other than the great service from the waitress in the dining room.

The room was fine, clean & comfortable. It was not on the road side so it was quiet as well. There was no fridge in the room which was a surprise. I was told you have to order it in advance to get one. As it was only one night I didn't bother. The staff was nice & froze my ice packs overnight in their fridge. The hallways & lobby look dated and the carpets could use a cleaning. I didn't try the restaurant as it closed at 8pm but I understand it is quite good.

I liked the service in the dining room with Mandy. However my steak was not great, just okay. The vending machines were empty, it was difficult to get bottled water and snacks. The room (254) was very outdated with old carpet.
