I loved the location. Beds were very comfortable to me and my hubby. It’s dog friendly, which we loved! The convenience of everything around us. My favorite restaurant The Original Mexican right around the corner! What can I say? I would stay there again.

INFESTED & FILTHY!!!
I chose this property because VRBO had flagged it as a Premier Host property. I don't know what the criteria is for that, but I was terribly misled! The A/C barely worked in the master bedroom. Condensation was dripping out of vent onto the bed when we arrived at night. It was blowing mildly cool air but the rest of the house was cold so there was definitely a problem. Sleeping was very uncomfortable. Cleanliness about a 1.5/10. Surfaces were clean when we arrived-- no trash, beds were made with presumably clean sheets. Upon further inspection though, this place was FILTHY! The kitchen is infested w/ants & I saw roaches in the kitchen at night more than once. There are roach droppings on the window sills. Every other surface has YEARS of grime on it... baseboards, blinds, spills on the walls. Even the ceilings have splatters & chunks of something on them, almost in every room. We were afraid to touch ANYTHING! The oven had a major spill in it & when I cooked in it, the burn off filled the kitchen with smoke for at least an hour. The couches are filthy & stained & we were afraid to sit on them. There were 5 full bags of garbage in the backyard by the fence. This property has been managed very poorly & I regretted reserving such a long stay. I emailed the local rep for the property mgmt co whose card is in the kitchen about the A/C, but he has still never answered me. I contacted Vacasa Mgmt corporate & they refunded my final day so I could book a hotel. Worst experience EVER!

Overall, everything was great. Liked that it was pet friendly and had big backyard. Only a few recommendations. Fan in back room needs cord replaced. Could not change speed of fan. Lighting in pool room and kitchen could be brighter. Maybe do something about ants in backyard. Would like check in time to be 2pm or 3pm and checkout time 12 or atleast 11 am.Otherwise enjoyed our stay there. Close to strand and beach. Would stay there again.

Great location for Students
I stayed here with a classmate for a week long lab at UTMB. It was a perfect location for us since we go back and forth constantly during the day. The house was clean, especially the towels, sheets, and bathtub. I was taken back by the closeness of the toilet and shower but it functioned good enough. I know this is always an issue (especially near the ocean) but it could use a regular pass by an exterminator. Also, the front door won’t stay closed without locking and back door takes serious effort to get open. The front bedroom would benefit from a lamp and a night stand. These are some things that can be improved upon for sure. But there was plenty of kitchen items and the appliances worked good. The front and back porches were lovely in the morning and evening. I would definitely stay here again.

Authentisches Holzhaus
Wir waren zu dritt dort und hatten trotz schlechten Wetters eine gute, entspannte Zeit dank des Billard. Die Gegend ist ruhig, vor dem Haus hört man allerdings Rauschen, wahrscheinlich von der Klimatisierung des nahe gelegenen Lehrkrankenhauses. Im Haus ist es ruhig. Moderne, kombinierte Heizungs-/Klimaanlage mit nur einem zentralen Regler, die schnell reagiert.
Das Haus war frisch geputzt, könnte an manchen Stellen aber auch mal wieder eine Grundreinigung gebrauchen (Saison-Ende). Ebenso kleinere Reparaturen an Möbeln.
Alles Erforderliche ist vorhanden.
Nette “Altstadt”, natürlich auch touristisch geprägt.
Der Strand ist gut zu erreichen, zu Fuß oder schnell mit dem Auto.
Insgesamt gut und absolut authentisch für Region.
Wir brauchten einmal den Service des Vermieters/Verwalters und das hat richtig gut, freundlich und schnell geklappt.
