▶ Property Layout & Shared Spaces/Amenities The back porch deck with the BBQ and Adirondack chairs is a shared outdoor space that may also be used by guests staying in the separate main home (Shamrock Bungalow). The Cottage is a completely separate unit with its own private entrance. Two bicycles are also available for shared guest use between the two homes, so availability may vary depending on occupancy. Each property also has one beach wagon and two beach chairs for guest use.
▶ Other Details ● Minimum Age to Book: We require the booking guest to be at least 21 years old and actually be staying at the property each night of the reservation.
● Historic Home: This is a lovingly restored circa 1920's property—expect a blend of old-world character and modern updates.
● Parking: One driveway covered parking spot in front of garage. Please note the City does not permit RVs, boats, trailers, or oversized vehicles to park in the driveway or on the street.
● Beach Access: The home is a short drive (or a 4 block walk) to the Seawall and Galveston’s beaches.
● Air Conditioning: Galveston is coastal and humid - air conditioning and ceiling fans are provided for your comfort. Our "window-style" AC is mounted through a wall (not a window).
● Pets: We’re happy to welcome well-behaved dogs! We allow 1 adult dog for a $75 fee. Please follow the rules below so we can continue offering pet-friendly stays: • Dogs only; max 1 (1+ year old, no puppies) • Must be fully housebroken; please clean up after your dog • No pets on beds or furniture → If excessive pet hair is found on beds or furniture, an additional $150 cleaning fee will apply • Must be crated if left alone (please bring a crate) • No unattended pets outdoors; must be on leash • Do not bathe pets in showers or sinks • Do not use bath or beach towels for pets • Guests are responsible for any pet-related damage or extra cleaning beyond the pet fee

Modest but clean and everything you would expect to be provided was. Cookware was actually very nice...a pleasant surprise. Kitchen sink was a bit sketchy but functional. Parking and access was good. Host was responsive and left good check-in instructions.The most negative thing I might say is that by the time cleaning fees, etc. were applied, the cost was a little bit higher than I would have expected for a small modest cottage. Location was easy to get to but a bit of a drive to a lot of places. Overall the quality was good.

I love that its pet friendly. Good location. The cottage is cute and well decorated and stocked with everything you will need for your stay and trip to the beach. The host is very attentive and responds in a flash. Only thing is the mainnphoto on the listing is the back porch of the house that this cottage sits behind. Great stay but probably wouldnt stay in thr summer as the wall unit wouldnt keep me cool enough, I'm AC spoiled
