Got checked into a room which the ac was off when I arrived and when I turned it in, it just blew outside air (June 2022…start of summer and 90 plus out) I went up front and spoke with the clerk, ….decided I’d wait an hr to see if it cooled off more and the AC just needed to get to optimal temps. I didn’t want to be that guy. Anyway, gave it an hr, no better. They immediately got me into another room which was perfect. I can’t really complain. It’s cheaper to stay here in week days than weekends. I’d never pay anything over 60 plus tax a night for this. I’d rather driver to galveston and sleep in my car on the beach. However…$60 for a bed and a shower. Good to go.
It was surprisingly quiet. Cleaning service knocked twice on door before 11am. Didn’t like that.
Amazingly my complaint is with ORBITZ! They booked me a room (and say they confirmed BUT Days Inn says NO WAY as they had no power) in a hotel without power and running water. Needless to say my family was stuck as there were no other rooms anywhere nearby and our money was now tied up in this rundown dump! Furious!!!
The first room they gave us smelt like mold, nothing was clean, mold in the bathrooms, a hole in the wall with dirty tissue and who knows what else. 2nd room smelt better but still wasn’t pleasing. Also this bathroom had mold in the shower, on the wall and shower curtain. Look like it had been weeks since anything was cleaned. Do not recommend this place to anyone!
No likes the breakfast because no have nothing only cereal
Pictures online were not the same. Had to call the front desk 4 times because of the people above us. He kept calling them to tell them to quiet down but never went up there. We didn’t get any sleep.
Very nice room, big and close to freeway. Got a bit turned around at first but use the McDonald's sign as you marker.
Rug was soaked staff was happy to help and very willing to fix and accommodate
First, the door to your room faces to the outside. I walked into the office and it had a horrible smell. Our room was just dirty and not a room that I would want to stay in. I am not picky, but there is no way I could stay here. He only good thing that came from the hotel is that the manager allowed Orbitz to refund my money.
King size, big room, Continental Breakfast a joke. They could have spent time on cleaning. The value of the room not equal to the what we paid for the room.
Interior Saftey lock was broken. Shower smelled terrible, shower curtains have never been washed, tub is probably from the 60's.... Should have paid the extra $70 for a nicer hotel
Shower had paint peeling off which would stick to your wet feet. It was gross. We checked in around 2:00 am so I asked for a late check out for 12 instead of 11, the owner said absolutely not because he was going to be busy. Which was hard to believe because there was hardly any cars in the parking lot. At least that is what I think he said Bc of the language barrier. Also it was 10:15am & we heard noises outside the door , it was a woman & a man with a housekeeper cart like stalkers waiting to pounce. We were making trips to the car with our stuff & they were like " u done?" Again language barrier. The continental breakfast is a horrible joke.
Wasn't bad for a few nights stay. Not far from Kemah Boardwalk nor NASA but about 25 mins from zoo. Breakfast room very small so get breakfast and go back to room or get something from local fast food. Pool was ok size. it was a very quiet stay.

There wasn't a lot of parking for the hotel, and it being spring break was really busy. The room was so so, there were stains on the carpet,and the carpet near the bathroom was coming up and there was a nail/tack in the floor, and my foot got stabbed. The couch had holes in it, and there were no blankets or sheets on the pull out. The bed was also very uncomfortable. However it was close to Galveston and it was an okay room, for the price I paid.
I CAME TO DICKINSON TO VISIT MY BOYFRIEND.I CALLED THE HOTEL TO SEE IF I COULD CHECK IN BEFORE THE ALLOTED TIME AND THE HOTEL CLERK SAID THAT MY RESERVATION WAS READY TO GO AND MY ROOM WAS WAITING FOR ME. UPON ARRIVAL, THE STAFF WAS FRIENDLY AND THE ROOM WAS CLEAN AND SPACIOUS!! I LOVED MY STAY AND I'M LOOKING FOWARD TO GOING BACK IN TWO WEEKS!! :)
The check in clerk was not very friendly and had body odor. We don't think he could speak much English. My husband said the cereal at the breakfast was stale. We went to a nearby IHOP for breakfast.
The hotel was in a great location, many places to eat and shop in the area. The staff was friendly, rooms were very clean couldn't ask for a better place for the price.
