It was in a very quiet neighborhood and very relaxing. We had a nice view of the ocean from the balcony and could hear the calming sounds of the waves on the beach.

The interior was cozy and immaculate. The view of the ocean was nice, the distance from the bustling seawall area made it quiet and enjoyable, the stars were much more visible there. We enjoyed the couch and the tv, and the bedsheets were very soft.

As a family of four, we had a lovely stay in this cute and comfortable beach house with very close beach access. Beds and counches were comfy. The location is on the quieter west end of the the island with great restaurants near by and far less hustle and bustle. Just what we were looking for. Our only disapointment was the state of the beach equipment. Two of the four chairs were brocken and rusty and the toys and equipment were dirty, broken and strewn all over in the closet. But we made do. On the bright side, the inclusion of a popup canopy for shade was a very welcome surprise and invaluable for spending the whole day on the beach. Overall, this was a great stay!

We had an amazing stay. The place is very clean, and they have everything these there you need for the house and the beach. They have a beach tent and plenty of chairs to use at the beach. This was amazing since my wife burns easily, and she stayed at the beach the entire time since we had the tent. We have been to Galveston times, but the first time to the south side of the island. This was the cleanest beach in Galveston we have been to. The house is very clean and very comfortable. Please note this home is only 900 sf. The size of great for our family of 4, with 2 small kids. If we had more people, it would get a bit tight. But who’s hanging out at the house when you have an amazing beach out your door.

This place was perfect for our family of 4. Super clean and cozy. Close 3 min walk to the beach with wagon, chairs, boogie boards and large canopy to help with some shade. Nice outdoor space and large upper deck for nightcaps. Would 100% visit again in the future.

We had a wonderful time at the Salty Starfish. The host was very quick to respond when we had a minor issue and fixed it right away. The house was clean and super close to the beach! Beds were super comfortable! Definitely recommend staying here.

This was the perfect beach getaway for our family! The property was exactly as depicted, and the owners really thought of every last detail when thinking about their guests. It was great to be so close to the beach and my boys enjoyed thr beach during the day and crabbing on the beach at night. The house was extremely clean and comfortable, and the owners were helpful and responsive to all our questions. We would definitely come back!

Incredible Home with Semi-Private Beach

We could not have asked for a better home to celebrate our girls’ birthdays. Home was super clean and comfortable. All of the amenities made our stay perfect and we had everything we needed for the beach. Less than one block from the beach was so convenient. I would classify this as an almost private beach experience. The best touch was the hammock/entertainment area downstairs. Our family will stay here when we return!! 10 out of 10 stars for our hostess Melissa.

Amazing stay

The communication with Melissa was always very quick and excellent. We immediately felt at home in the house. It has everything we need and is of excellent quality. Great location, just a short walk from the sea. We highly recommend this house.

Wonderful property

It was a wonderful house with close access to the beach. My kids loved having access to the beach toys and corn hole. Very relaxing and quiet neighborhood. We will stay here again next time we come for a vacation.

A quiet oasis

Came all the way from Nebraska to see an Mavs game then Galveston beach. Our stay was pretty much flawless. Host is extremely easy to work with, welcome packet gives you all the info you need, property is stunning and the private beach couldn’t be more perfect. We are in awe of this area and we loved the little seaside restaurants we tried. Dollar general is 2 minutes away to pickup whatever you need for your stay which is convenient. Our kids were begging to stay longer. Hopefully we can come back someday!
