Beautiful home with great location of beach. Had a few issues:Front door was very hard to unlock and also lock. There was a trick to it which could have been given this information before our stay. Fire alarm would not turn off and there was no smoke in the house. Called for assistance twice and took too long to respond so we just removed the batteries. Master bathroom sink and toilet leak water onto floor. Master shower was clogged up so we had to use plunger. There is a piece of dried up gum stuck to the rug next to the bed. Downstairs bath was clogged as well. Pans to cook in were definitely NOT non stick as every one we cooked in, all types of food stuck to the pans. Otherwise, It is definitely a big beautiful home and a great location. There were 8 of us and we enjoyed our stay. Master bed was incredibly comfortable.

Gorgeous house Amazing stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this fabulous house. Plenty of room for our group to enjoy. I especially liked the spacious bathrooms and big walk-in showers! The space is as pictured and described. Everything you need for a wonderful beach vacation.

Perfect birthday beach house

We celebrated our daughter's sweet 16 birthday at this location with several of her friends and it was perfect! The main living area is very spacious so everyone had room to spread out and be comfortable, play games, etc. Nice balconies for group photos, overall a very well kept beach house. We've used Vrbo many times and this is our second time in a location managed by BeachBox who did a great job communicating and making sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely come back!

Very nice house in great location

The home was spacious, well appointed and a very short walk to the beach. My only suggestion is that the owner should leave instructions for using the oven or replace the control knob because, apparently, they had replaced the oven control knob with the wrong one, and we couldn't figure out how to turn it on and set the temperature. It kept shutting off. The owner, however, responded quickly and sent out a maintenance man, who was able to figure it out. He acknowledged the problem with the control knob.

Clean, spacious, good location.

My fiancé, some old childhood friends, and I enjoyed a calm trip to Galveston. Home was incredibly spacious and provided adequate kitchen tools to cook meals. The home had board games, many TV’s, and was a short walk from the beach. The neighborhood is quiet and 15 minutes away from Pleasure Pier, only 20 minutes from the port. Overall, I would recommend this listing to my family and friends.

Overall it was okay. Gas stove was hard to light had to use lighter. Tv in master would not work. The outside shower was very dirty, but everything else was great. I would stay again. FYI Beachside Village does not allow trailers to park on properties.

Great Place Except

Very nice place. Good location good neighborhood. But the front door is a big problem. Not only was it very and I mean very hard to open and close. Also because you have to pull so hard on the door to close it the door handle is getting messed up from having to pull so hard to close the door. You cannot lock it from the inside of the house. Meaning when it is time to go to bed you could not lock the door from the inside of the house. You could lock it with a key from the outside of the house but not from the inside. I told the contact and they put somebody on it that told me that I would figure it out. I have storm doors almost exactly like these at my place I know that the locking mechanism that I wrote about above is messed up. Had I known about this issue before deciding to stay there. I would have looked around more and picked somewhere else to stay. Also the back door to the house which is upstairs from the master bedroom has a locking issue as well but was easy to open and close. but you could not lock it from the inside as well.
