Amazing Getaway

This house has everything that you would expect, lots of rooms, a place for the kids/teenagers to hangout. We enjoyed the bay for crabbing and fishing. Would definitely return.

Wonderful place for family vacation

We had a wonderful weekend. The house was perfect for our family and the grandkids loved the fishing from the dock. Beach was so close and we also enjoyed the private neighborhood fishing pier. Great fun restraunt close by too. Lots of fish, crabs, sun and fun had by all.

Everyone in the family enjoyed our stay and said it was the best house yet.

Our entire stay was great! The whole family loved the plentiful beds and bath accommodations. The kids loved being able to get in the canal. This sounds funny for a house called a "reel good spot", but some of our group also caught some fish while enjoying the angling opportunities. The family vote was unanimous that they hope to get this house again next year.

Great home and stay!

Great location on the canal and close to the beach. The property was clean, had everything we needed, and accommodated our group with plenty of space. We enjoyed our time and will visit again in the future!

Great Stay

Our group of 13 family member had a wonderful stay at the Reel Good Spot! The house is spacious and very well decorated! Each room has its own balcony! I would highly recommend staying here!

Can’t wait to come again!

This was an absolute wonderful house! Plenty of room and perfect for our stay. Extremely clean and had everything we needed. We came in the winter but would love to come back in the summer and stay again.

Great for group!

We loved the house and location! Short golf cart ride to the beach and even rode over to the marina a few times. House was clean and comfortable- perfect for our group of 7 adults and two teenagers. Would stay again!

Great place for families

First time staying on the bay-side of Galveston and enjoyed the experience. Whole family came together for Easter and the kids especially loved fishing from the dock and the nearby pier. Little things like having comfortable outdoor seating very much enhanced our experience. Tip: Don't just hang out main level deck; the downstairs patio (under the deck) was our favorite area. Nice breeze and better views of the water.

Wonderful, relaxing getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful spot! We had young adult family to senior citizens and all of us agreed it was relaxing and peaceful. Beach was conveniently close. Lots of room indoors and out. Enjoyed the drive along the ocean to restaurants and sightseeing. Thank you for a great vacation spot!
