The only thing that was not good is that there was no WiFi you had to pay for it the cheap hotels give it you free Wi-Fi why couldn't they give it you free for all the money I spent. I would recommend it to people but there is no WiFi.

Great value for you money. Near Eagle Ridge. Nice balcony. Kitchen. Giant bath tube with fireplace. Very Cozy.

My husband and I loved getting away for a few days to enjoy the pace and scenery of Galena. Worldmark Hotels was the perfect place to accommodate our needs and wants.

We enjoyed the hotel very much. Pool was nice, bed was comfortable, in room whirl pool was great. Room was nice and clean and well stocked with dishes.

very relaxing. the spa and workout room are excellent.

We've stayed in several places in Galena Territory and this is one of our favorites. We will be back next year, if not sooner. The condo is clean, well-appointed and has everything that we are looking for when we go for a weekend.

The drive is not adequately lit. The antiquated ac gave me fever and cold. If the heating and cooling system is fixed and driveway is properly lit would have gotten better review. Not to forget, water can ruin your hair and skin. The staff on desk are friendly and good but they do no seem to have any control over changes and reservation. Overall, stay at Ramada and holdiay Inn will be much better. If you have options go for Eagle ridge itslef.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful during our stay. The room was spacious and comfortable. We had everything we needed during our stay.

My fiancé and I decided to go to the courthouse on Friday and get married then off to Galena for a small romantic get-a-way. It was perfect. We called and asked for a valley view once we reserved our room. Only mentioned we were going there celebrating our marriage and had a free movie rental with a congrats card and balloon on the door when we arrived! The studio was perfect for the two of us! Not recommended for families. Great view, 5-7 minute beautiful drive to downtown Galena, clean hot tub with fireplace, small kitchen, balcony with chairs, etc. I highly recommend this location. The staff was above par as well. Very friendly! :)

We enjoyed our stay at the Resort at Galena. The room was clean and well furnished. The kitchen had all the essentials and the bed was comfortable. We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub and found the staff to be helpful and friendly. Our only complaint was that we could quite clearly hear the residents of the condo above us walking around and using the bathroom, etc. Not very good sound isolation if you end up in a 1st floor room. This was only noticeable when going to bed and early in the morning - since we are not particularly light sleepers, it wasn't a deal breaker. We will definitely stay there again if we visit Galena. It's a beautiful setting and only about an 8 mile drive into town.

Very nice place for getaway. Overall great experience. Although having breakfast would be nice and pillows were too small.

Lousy Murphy Bed for $120.00. Never slept so poorly on the road. I'm of average size, my girl is petite and the bed was a joke.

My husband and I love going to Galena to spend a quiet and relaxing weekend. Longhollow Point Inn is great! The bathtub is amazing and the 1 bedroom room has everything you could need for a stress-free stay.

The bathroom was HUGE, but the shower was tiny. There was more than ample space left in that bathroom to add a bigger shower. Also, the bed was a hideaway bed that you had to pull down out of the wall. The only reason this was even necessary was because they felt the need to have a loveseat, arm chair, and coffee table in the seating area. Only two people can stay in the room so why 3 seats? If they would take out the arm chair they could have a regular bed with a much nicer mattress & end tables (which they did not have). Maybe that will take place in the rennovations they are doing now (summer 2010). And the rennovations weren't noisy to us, but we werent that close to any of the chosen rooms. Thats is for the negatives. Besides that the place is very nice. Try for an odd number room so you can get a beautiful view of the rolling woodlands. They have a kitchen with all the utensils you could need (even the things to cook stove top, no oven). There is really no need for the hot tub in the pool area since they have a HUGE jacuzzi in your room. The bed was comfortable, but like I said, a better mattress could be purchased preferably. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Also just a tip. This is not that close to Galena's downtown area. You are looking at a 5-10 minute drive, which doesnt sound bad, but parking downtown is a pain and many places are limited to 2-3hrs. If you arent planning on spending your whole trip downtown, then you should be ok, but if you want to do shop and that every day, this might not be the best place.

The room was very affordable and the jacuzzi tub was a big bonus.

We booked the hotel last minute a day before we arrived and were by no means expecting what we received... Our 'studio' room had a fully stocked kitchenette, a jacuzzi tub, and a fireplace between the bathroom and bedroom so we could enjoy it in both rooms. The bed was nice, not as firm as most hotel beds I've experienced. The location, right outside Galena, was also perfect. It was right off the street that leads through the city but still away from everything else. I will definitely be booking my next hotel stay in Galena there!

CLOSE TO GALENA. ROOM WAS CLEAN AND SPACIOUS EVEN FOR AN EFFICIENTCY. NICE WORKOUT ROOM AND GAME ROOM FOR KIDS AND ADULTS.

very nice and quite cute also very quiet

overall it was a great place but the halls needed to be vaccumed and the room could have been cleaned alittle better(bathroom). One suggestion for them take the chair out of the room to give more space i think the couch is enough. other than that it was a wonderful place for a couple to getaway, fireplace and whirlpool tub very romantic.

We arrived at 2:45 went to check in and the lady said check-in is at 4:00. There was hardly anyone there, hard to believe our room was not ready. She did give us a key to the pool area. We had a studio room nothing was said about a murphy bed. It was hard as a rock, terrible to sleep on. The room was clean and nice size. It was nice to have a refrigerator. They were not very informative at the front desk. We asked where to go for a sandwich and a beer, she said everything is on main street. Our room faced the back, so it was very peaceful. It was out of town about six miles, and the only thing close by is a golf course. The course is awesome. Galena is a interesting little town. We did use the pool and hot tub, it was OK.
