The hotel was nice basic stuff. Nothing spectacular room was quiet. Staff was friendly. The only slight issue There was was the shower water and the sink water in the bathroom.Would drip. A good place to stay.

No coffee in room are down stairs

Was not happy with no coffee in room are down stair never stay in hotel where they didnt have coffee. Also the room had a stove top cook , which I wouldn't have cook. But their was nothing to cook with. Didnt make since to me. Won't be staying their again with no coffee.

People at front desk were very friendly. The third floor smelled really bad my room smelled stale. First place I have ever stayed that I was ask to take out my on trash. i was there four nights no room service.

When we entered our first room #229 my husband and I couldn't believe the poor condition and marijuana order. The refrigerator extremely rusted, the bed seemed from the 1940s hospital beds (not exaggerating). 🚫

The toilet seat was broken. The glass on the picture frames were broken. The venetian blinds barely covering the window was broken. The phone didn't work. The smoke alarm was missing. We could not set the room temperature; it was broken. It smelled. The only staff was apathetic, said she was the only one there, they were booked solid so we could not change rooms. It looked like homeless people hanging around outside. Scary place to stay.

Going to have surgery in Gainesville

I had to have surgery Friday morning and I didn’t know it was gator nationals.. But the stay was good so I could have my surgery and come back and rest and leave out Saturday morning..

This was first...and last time taking a chance on a 2-Star. Case in point; When I first arrived, I discover that my room had a clogged toilet. The front desk person did not suggest changing my room, they simply handed me a plunger in a trash bag and said "try and see if this works".

The property had a smell of weed when you entered the "lobby". Our room smelt even worse than that. The window to our room was open when we arrived, the fridge and stovetop were very dated and had scratches and rust. An hour after we checked in, an employee entered our room with her own key, without knocking. The internet is very spotty. The trashcans outside the building were overflowing, and usually there were people sitting near them that were participating in illegal activity. Nothing on the inside or outside looked liked the images posted online for the reservation.

This location is due for a renovation. I stayed at room 210. There was mold on the walls in the bathroom. One of the knobs in the stove was broken. The room in general smelled bad. I had to go and purchase an air freshener... The other issue I had was that, I arrived at the hotel on Friday night at around 10 p.m. I checked in, paid my bill in full ($247 dollars) and went to my room. The next day, I went out to take care of some business and when I returned, my room key did not work to open de door. I went to the front desk and I was told that my room key did not work becaus I had never checked in. I was listed as a "no-show" and my $247 dollar payment was not registered. Fortunatelly I had kept a receipt and the issue was sorted out. But I had to spend about 45 minutes of my time dealing with this situation, as my wife and daughter were locked out of our room. I am under the impression, this hotel is understaffed.

Beware of this hole in the wall place. Left after 20mins. Disgusting and dirty. Told front desk and they said Oh well sorry. Called Expedia and no help for a refund. Only runaround for 3 days with no compensation.
