This hotel is not cheap. At around 800 per night with half board. On the second day of first day there was a 3 hour power outage, supposedly for maintenance of the power plant on the island. This was during the hottest time of day and the whole island was without AC I’m the rooms, a fan, etc. The management’s idea of compensation? Free soft drinks, 50% off overprice snorkeling trips and a “magic show”. At 800 a night? Ridiculous! Even though the outage was supposed to be scheduled, we were not informed before our trip or we would’ve chosen to go somewhere else. The hotel is very near the airport with air traffic noises. You have city views of the new high rise developments from one whole side of the island. Not secluded at all. Will not stay here again.

My partner and I went to The Sheriton...Full moon and Spa Resort for 7 Days....It was absolutely amazing....This Resort has the most Amazing staff in all areas of the Resort....we loved the food....very Good service....the only thing i would say...Do not go to Mali...The capital city of Maldives....they do try to rip you off there and not much to see....and also you can not take alcohol on any of the Islands from Mali.....It is quite expensive in Maldives in General but worth the Beauty you will experience....enjoy guys and i highly recomend this Resort....😇😇😇😇😈

Nice place. Decent snorkeling. Decent outings. Good food though pricey as w dry where in Maldives. Only downside is half of the time they don’t answer room service phone number. And after sending a letter to the room stipulating an earlier than expected departure to airport (I understand they need groups to go) they give no breakfast option Then at checkout they ask if you ordered breakfast. Then they say they tried right then and it’s not possible. Then you see others in exit pavilion with packed breakfast. Then they offer you one as you enter into the boat (to eat while en route I guess after having waited half an hour as they instructed ). So all good just disorganized in a somewhat pleasant way at the end.

It has been the best trip i ever had till date. Everything about Sheraton full moon was amazing starting from the pick up, stay, hospitality, cleanliness, view, rooms, staff everything was just upto the mark. I would also like to add the photo shoot experience we had at the property. It was just truly remarkable. Our photographer named Wisaam was outstanding. He took some great photos and also gave us an extra photo print as a complimentary gift. So never miss the complimentary photo shoot at the property. Regards, Shagith

First I would love to review about the hospitality and service they provide , it was fantastic and My Guest Manager Mr. Asad Hussain who is very kind and very helpful gave us nice welcome which we enjoyed , Location - ***** (5 Stars) Food - **** (4stars) Hospitality - *****(5stars) Amenities - ******(5stars) Adventures and Activities - *****(5stars) I must admit they treat you as king and queen during the stay , please count on this resort if you are planning for Maldives. Thank you.

This has been the best place where you don't only find a beautiful place, cabin, food, drinks however you also find very nice and attentive people. Sheraton Team will make sure that you get the best experience during your stay. I would like to remark their restaurants Feast where you can find the best breakfast, Masala Hut, Kakuni Hut and Anchorage have the best food, lunch/dinner and ice cream. Kudos to Zidan, Ibrahim, Yadislav, Belinda and Hud for their high standard on customer services. I can not miss Sergio who check on us on a daily basis and he make sure that we were having a good time. Thanks to ALL at the Sheraton!!!

From checkin and throughout my stay, the Service was impeccable and Staff went above and beyond. The resort is Beautiful and there are plenty of activities for all age groups. The food at Sea Salt was excellent!

We visited maldives during oct school vacation (couple with 1 kid) . Arrival at Reception was a bit crowded but we were well attended by personal guide asada who explained to us island map and all facilities. It's a huge property so buggy ride is advisable as it convenient as some rooms are 800 m walk ( depend on room location) 1. Resort has various food options Indian,Chinese, local ,Mexican etx with multiple vegetarian options and kids menu which is non spicy 2. Super quick service and friendly staff at all eating places. 3. Resort conducts free activities like snorkeling lessons which is worth experiencing especially for first timers 4. Snorkeling trip conducted by extreme maldives is amazing and the guides are fantastic ; they took special care of non swimmers and kids.highly recommended! 5. I tried scuba diving for the first time and iam glad I did it here with very patient coach imran who was so kind and really explained all steps in simplified fashion. 6. Plenty of beach activities like kayaking; shark feeding etc is fun.Masks and fins are available all the time. Adventure sports is expensive and quite booked so prior appointments recommended 7. Waterville rooms are worth but you dont many fishes near room snorkel a bit farther to get coral. Great time anyway lazing in water which isn't very deep and super clean 8. I lost my phone and the staff found it in 1 hour Overall amazing hospitality and friendly staff clean ambience and great sports activities They can make it better by providing free water everywhere ( restaurants are chargeable) and more indoor activities during rains. Buggy waiting time increases significantly during rains. Also some of the plastic waste at the beach can be reduced

The Sheraton is a very pretty resort. It is quite a small island, if you walk around it will only take you 30 mins. Rooms: We had a cottage wo TV garden view. Very pretty and spacious room with an amazing outdoor bathroom. The shower is under the sky. Really beautiful. Food: We had half board, so we had breakfast and dinner included which was just perfect. The buffet was always so much and so many choices. It was really good food, the chefs there are amazing. And also the staff working by the buffet and also in the whole hotel are really nice and friendly. Everyone will help you at any time. Beach/ Island: Unfortunately the island doesn’t have a reef to snorkel right by the island. So Snorkelling around the Island is not too good. There are some sharks, which the hotel is feeding every day at night, kind of as a show. And then we only saw turtles and some fish, but unfortunately no corals or a Reef. The beach on the one side of the island is in a built lagoon, so the water is shallow and quiet. However the main island is in sight and the planes take off and land over the beach. It’s quite noisy. The beach on the other side of the island is more quiet, but there are the water bungalows. And they are literally in your view of the ocean. Which is quite sad. Makes the beach less pretty. One thing that the island is not doing very well, they are still using single use, plastic bottles!! You can always find plastic in the ocean or on the beach anyways. And then the Hotel only offers 500ml bottles of water. Nothing to refill whatsoever. I find it quite bad management theses days, to be still using these bottles. Other Islands have been using glass bottles already. They should definitely change this. So in general of you want to go snorkelling and see stuff, I wouldn’t recommend this island.

Pros 1. 30 mins speed boat from Male airport 2. Amazing service 3. Very well maintained island property 4. Great food - across cuisine - thai and Greek would be rated on top 5. Crystal clear water with b'ful fish all around (black tip sharks too ;)) Cons 1. It's near the airport so do not expect no disturbance from air traffic or moving ships
