There were a few things about the room that I thought could use improvement. 1) This is my biggest complaint. There is a clear glass, almost wall-size window separating bedroom from bathroom. The only privacy is provided by the wooden shutters that can be opened/closed from inside the bedroom. The shower and the toilet are inside glass compartments with no privacy film whatsoever. I personally don't enjoy the fact that whoever is in the bedroom - be it my child, husband, or lover - can randomly open the shutters and see me using the toilet or taking a shower, with no way for me to control that from inside the bathroom. 2) Bedroom floor tiles are way too rough, these tiles are more suited for outside decks. Even the floor in the bathroom is a lot smoother, which makes no sense since there is more water on the floor in the bathroom and more risk of slipping, therefore the floor should be more rough there if anywhere at all. 3) Comforter - way too heavy for this climate. I could not get a good night sleep, I was either too cold if i kicked it off or too hot under it. By comparison, the comforters in Kurumba resort are super light and the bedsheets and pillows are so soft and comfortable, I did not want to get out of bed there. In Sheraton, I couldn't wait to get out of bed. 4) The lotion provided smells terrible, I kept smelling myself thinking this is BO or the smell of old damp clothes - but no, it was the lotion I applied earlier. Please change it for everyone's sake.

The staff, the staff, the staff! Everyone was amazing! This was one of the best vacations that I’ve taken. The 20 hr flight was worth the experience. The staff were so nice, and extremely outgoing. They were always open for conversation, making suggestions, and the chefs even gave me tips on how to prepare fishes that i enjoyed there. My only complaint, that had nothing to do with the staff, was that we adapted to the timezone sooner. That would've allowed for more of an experience.

We stayed at the property for 10 days and it was a wonderful family vacation. The staff are amazing!! Whilst there are many names, it’s a testament to the high quality of service I would like to give a special mention to Mifra (our overall report concierge), Ali at Anchorage Bar, Amrit who is the friendliest and most amazing bartender, Amaan who is a very knowledgeable dive instructor, Maria from the kids club plus numerous others. Our kids had an amazing time with a lot of activities to do on a daily basis and the food is of a very high standard even for ‘global citizens’ like our family. We stayed at the Beach Bunglow with pool which is right on the beach and gives great access to snorkelling and then at the Water Bunglow which has uninterrupted views and gives the deserted island feel of the Maldives vs. periodic views of Male on the other side which was the only downside hut cannot be helped. All in we will gladly return to the resort. Amazing Holiday!!

Resort is really nice. We enjoyed our villa pool and close proximity to the beach. Don't stick close to your room/villa...venture out. The water is prettier near the over water villas. Several restaurants...book reservations early. Our room had an outdoor bathroom...which was awesome except for the humidity. The staff was great. The boat ride to the resort was fun but the cold towels were everything. We also received a welcome drink upon arrival.

The room was not clean the pool was dirty and the bottle of wine in the fridge had mould on it so not good at all I would never stay here again or recommend it to anybody it spoiled the end of my birthday trip

Went there on our honeymoon on the all inclusive package. We stayed in an overwater villa, the resort and the villa were amazing. We had Siraj as our staff looking after the villa- he always had a smile on his face and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Also had a complimentary massage as it was our honeymoon and complimentary snorkelling gear which was appreciated! The food and drinks on the whole were great on the AI package- would definitely recommend Banh Thai- the food there was amazing! Lunches at the Kakuni Hut were also great! Not all drinks were included in the AI packages but still a decent selection of drinks to choose from. Service on the whole was good apart from our last night at the Anchorage restaurant where service was incredibly slow and impersonal but seems like an isolated event mainly due to one wait staff. Overall, we had a really nice stay, food and drinks were amazing, staff largely were very hospitable and wanted to ensure you had a good time. Would definitely recommend!
