Central Apartment

Nice, bright, sunny apartment in a central location next to the La Vie shopping centre and it is handily situated above the Pingo Doce supermarket for all your essentials. It is also just a few minutes stroll to the marina and near to some nice bars and restaurants. It was well equipped with cooker, microwave, coffee machine, washer etc but a little short on cooking utensils for anyone there on a longer stay and wishing to cater in, rather than use the local restaurants every day. The bed in the ‘sunny’ bedroom is comfortable and large and there is plenty of hot water. Linen was changed weekly whilst we were there and the cleaning was efficient and quite good. The apartment did suffer from road noise, especially early morning. If the double glazing was a better fit it would cut out much of the noise. Whilst we were staying the other apartments on the same floor were undergoing refurbishment so there was some disturbance due to building/construction noise but thankfully we were out most of the day and only experienced the drilling for an hour or so when we got back. It was a nice place to stay and I would book this apartment again.

Great Apartment

Lovely apartment in good location for transport restaurants etc, however a little noisy as it faces onto a main road. Property manager sent plenty of e-mails but was a little slow to respond to my questions and we had to phone twice to be met at the apartment. However very friendly and welcoming when they did arrive

Well appointed apartment in the heart of Funchal

We appreciated the general spaciousness of this apartment. It is well appointed and furnished, with luxury fittings as well as generous toiletry provisions. Its location is very convenient, with a large supermarket in the shopping complex below the apartment. Numerous great restaurants and bars complete the perfect location. OK, the traffic could be noisy, but this is inevitable in the centre of the city. The managing agent dealt promptly and courteously with a couple of maintenance issues.
