This property, managed by a company with multiple units, lacks onsite reception and has a locked exterior door. Check-in details were not provided in advance despite multiple requests via VRBO, requiring direct contact with the management company. Upon arrival, guests must call the number displayed on the door to receive the access code and check-in instructions. Learning how to dial a Japanese phone number beforehand is recommended. Once inside, guests complete registration via an iPad, including a video call and passport verification. The room itself was in decent condition but needed some repairs. The space is tight, with two beds crammed into a bedroom originally designed for one, and a couch converted into another bed, blocking closet access. Communication issues and the limited space led to a two-star rating deduction. On the positive side, the property is conveniently located near Hakata Station, providing easy train access to the city and nearby attractions like Nanzo-in Temple. Canal City mall is literally up the street providing tons of shopping, and restaurants are all over nearby. Great location!
