We stayed during the school Spring Break using our SPG points but took my elderly parents along as they were visiting. We were pretty surprised by the price increase during the period we stayed and felt it was very very overpriced... However, as a getaway from the bustle of Dubai, it is a great resort. It had plenty to entertain the children and restaurant choice is good if you're not staying on an all inclusive basis. The children had a blast playing at The Penguin Club, and every restaurant catered really well for them. We couldn't take them snorkelling as planned due to high amounts of tar in the sea which is an utter disgrace, but not something the hotel can do much about. Rooms are really spacious with great views. The upgrade to a club room wasn't really worth it as there were very few benefits apart from a small afternoon tea. Service is very good, staff are really friendly and helpful.

Great hotel and exotic location. Check-in was fast and easily upgraded to SPG member privilege room. Spacious room and great sea view. Nice pool and private beach access. Didnt try the gym. They had water sports and many other activities lined up everyday for the whole family which is clearly indicated by daily activity list. Bathroom was big and toiletries were available but resupply was a bit lagging. Wouldnt say the bed was cozy but okay. Breakfast didnt try due to ramadan but in room dining was great and food served hot even at 3am!! Attaching a picture below of how the sofa was when I arrived and didnt fix it for 4 days. A bit weird considering how dangerous nails pointing out. All in all great place to relax and recommended highly especially for family get away.

We were very happy with Eman from the Philippines, and Maryam from Kenya at the pool bar. They were very friendly and gave us relevant information on the food options and SPG membership. Highly recommended, lounging in the pool.

We stayed at this hotel for one night with my husband and family. I can say that the only attractive factor in this hotel is the amazing beach of Al Aqah. The hotel interior looks mainly like a four star hotel especially the rooms interior. The breakfast restaurant was over crowded with the tables dedicated for four people was really small and didn't fit all of our plates.

Though it was hot and very humid the pool was nice and cool. I like the beach area and the great variety of activities on on offer. I personally prefered the Gonu bar & grill as it is right on the beach and close to the pool, hence perfect in this hot season.

We booked a night at this hotel to have a break from Dubai routine. It has a good location - 5 minutes to the Snoopy Island. It works for us because we did 2 days of snorkeling and we love this place in general. Nevertheless the lobby and outdoor territory might look old rooms are really nice. I think there might have been some renovations. We were staying at 15th floor and had a spectacular sea view. According to breakfast it was poor and could be appropriate only for 3* hotels. A lack of fruits and sweets, completely spoiled salad (I even can't simply say that it wasn't fresh, it was a garbage), awful coffee and so on. All in all if you buy it using a voucher or a promotion it's ok. But paying full price for it could spoil your experience. Good luck for everyone!

We came to relax but we end up more stressed than before. First the room is not that clean. First day I was sleeping and they made lots of noise with unexpected drill and hammer so I jumped out from the bed very scared. Second day, they start to do fire alarm test in the morning, which again I woke up almost having a heart attack. Both occasions, they have never informed its guests. The hotel have free Wi-Fi which doesn't work properly, so we asked the reception how could we get the paid internet, but no one knew how to do it. So we ended up without Internet to finish some work on our laptops. We asked to clean the room, and the person who came, was very stinky. It's was disgusting the smells in the room for many hours. Restaurant is very poor quality, the options of food are too spice and there is no tag informing it. So you find out very spicy when you are eating and desperate to drink a water. Ar condition in the entire hotel is VERY cold, it feels we are in Scotland at all times. We couldn't sleep well even with the AC off, and to go to the restaurant you must wear a big jacket, and outside is 40 degrees, which can make our human body easily sick. We ordered a soup before our check out, and they never sent a spoon. I had to eat with the tea table spoon.

Overall stay was awesome this is our 3rd visit and staff had fantastic service from the moment we checked-in, (forgot the 2 male reception who was on duty last jun15 afternoon) they had upgraded our room and got our advance wedding anniversary cake..Thank you Eman from the poolbar for your delicious drink..👍🏻❤️ Thank You Le Meridien Al Aqah for the excellent service. Simple gestures is WOW! We will definitely come back over and over again..

From start to finish, our weekend at Le Meridien Al Aqah was wonderful. The valet, the check in, the room, the pool...everything was top class. Even the wifi! Loved that you didn't have to reconnect every time your phone went to sleep. We did a snorkelling trip with Al Boom Divers and went to 2 sites: Dibba Rock and Shams Rock. Beautiful underwater experience. The trip was not too short and not too long. The staff were professional and the snorkelling gear was good quality. At the end you get a 25% discount voucher on food and beverage which we used at Gonu. We really loved that fact that all prices at the hotel were inclusive of taxes. It made such a positive impact on us, as we are tired of going places and having to "plus plus plus" onto already overpriced items. The highlight was our dinner at Gonu - what a place. Excellent staff, excellent food, delicious cocktails, all overlooking the beach with the waves crashing a few metres away. The hotel also allowed us to check out later than usual, which left us time for a morning by the pool. Cannot wait to return!

We stayed at the Le Meridien Al Aqah, two weekends ago. The check in process was efficient and we could get our rooms earlier than expected. My family came for diving with Al Boom, which they absolutely loved. Professional, friendly and very well run! The hotel was nice and clean, quiet, as it is Ramadan and all the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was perfect for the night and had everything we needed. We will be back.
