"I had a very nice stay at Pensión Úbeda in Fuenmayor. I received a warm welcome, along with helpful tips and brochures about nearby options and things to do.
I had to stay one extra day, sooner than planned, and the hostess arranged the additional night without any issues. There are many vineyards nearby, and I even received a brochure with several places to visit, including contacts and prices.
The hostess also mentioned she was available by phone or WhatsApp if needed.
The pension has one parking spot right in front of the entrance. If it’s occupied, there is plenty of space along the street next to the pension. It’s a small town with very light traffic.
The entire place and the room were very clean. Garbage was picked up daily, and the bathroom was spacious.
There is a local grocery store in town, as well as a couple of clothing stores. There are also 3–4 cafés within a very short walking distance where you can have breakfast, eat, relax, or enjoy a drink. Some local restaurants are nearby as well.
ATMs are also within walking distance, in case you need to withdraw cash.
Pensión Úbeda is just one block from downtown, so everything in Fuenmayor is close by. For more facilities or a more “city life” experience, Logroño is about 13.5 km away.
I would definitely visit again and recommend it.
