The hotel itself has a lovely lobby that makes a great first impression. The staff is friendly and quick to assist. I must admit that I was a little disappointed at the décor/bedding of our room as it felt old fashioned (think 80's vibe) which truly didn't make sense with the rest of the hotel as it seems to have much more of an elegant touch. Regardless, our room was exceptionally cleaned daily and the AC functioned well which is something of major importance for us. The proximity to the beach is perfect as you can just walk out and roam the castle and shops. BE AWARE: the beach and pool are freezing! But I am sure during the hot summer days its nice and refreshing. We tried the dinner buffet once and once was enough. It had a variety of dessert and salad options but as far as sides and main dish it really felt limited and uneventful. Overall a pleasant stay
