First floor room with balcony with pool and sea view - FANTASTIC. As myself and my sister went on holiday for chill out we mainly lounged in and around Hotel. We had 2 treatments in the spa and wellness centre. One was exfoliation which was super and left skin so soft. The other was Indian head neck and back massage. This was really benrficial for back problems. We also had our hair re-styled. The cost for each was very reasonable. We walked to town which took 10 mins. Quite a selection of Restaurants there. Stopped and had the most wonderful Doughnuts which were hot and smothered in syrup. Staff there really nice too. Weather really hot for 4 out of 7 days. Not bad for time of year. Would really highly recommend a visit to this Hotel.
We wanted to escape for a well deserved break, the first for many years and chose this hotel on its appearance and location. We were not disappointed, we arrived in the early hours and there was a fresh cold plate waiting for us and a beautiful room with a balcony overlooking the pool and the sea. The staff were attentive, the hotel matched up to the photos, the food was good and plentiful and the surrounding area is just beautiful, it was very quiet when we went which suited us, very few children just mainly couples chilling out at the end of a busy year. We loved it and would go again tomorrow!!!
My boyfriend and I had done a 12km hike down Mt Olympus the previous day so booked ourselves in to stay here as we thought we could probably do with a massage to recharge. The hotel is in a perfect location, walking distance to the beach, restaurants and bars. Our room was amazing, quite large with a balcony and a huge bathroom. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and the breakfast was great. The best part for us was that we arrived in the early afternoon and were able to book in for a massage later that day for both of us, including a 1 hour hydration treatment and 1 hour massage. it was fantastic again the staff in the spa were great. Highly recommend this hotel.
We arrived in Athens on the 4th Oct around 21.30pm. We were not aware that our hotel Mitsis Galini Wellness Spa & Resort, Kamela Vourla was not actually in Athens but about two and a half hours away and will cost an extra €250.00. We had to pay extra to stay in Athens because the bus and train stopped at 22.00pm which means the only transportation is via taxi. We got the bus to our hotel the next day 5th Oct arriving about noon. The hotel is in a beautiful location, friendly staff and a spacious clean , sea view room. There is absolutely no public transport in the area and taxi on request if any. Lots of hotels and restaurants in the area, deserted properties that have seen better days. The weather was great, no activities in the area no night life. The staff was great and the hotel very comfortable and clean, pleasant and beautiful environment. No international papers or magazines in general. Pleasant stay but not happy about the distance from Athens airport. We would have made other arrangement. Thanks to all the staff for making our holiday special. I am from Manchester and my sister from Berlin and we will take home all the wonderful memories of Mitsis Galini, Kamena Vourla, Greece.
We visit the hotel almost every year, except last year, and we found that a refreshing air from the staff and facilities was blowing. We were very pleased with our stay, we relaxed at the pool where there were sunbeds for all. the staff were very kind and helpful.
Nothing to do. Pianist plays on a Friday and Saturday night. Small warm pool with rust, larger cold pool with traffic. No ice cream or pizza time unless u really ask in the bar but u can only eat the pizza in the smoke ridden bar!! Only one restaurant with same food day in day out and nothing can be taken outside the room. Its not 5* or even 4* maybe 3 at a push. The rooms are poorly decorated and wallpaper is damp and falling off. Tv is German or Greece only. Electric sockets are falling out of the walls exposing wires and so are spot lights!! Cracks and dirty walls broken floors and outside paving!! Don't bother staying here!! There's no beach just a smelly rusty foot of pebble then ocean!! Litter and graffiti everywhere! Town shops are mostly shut down and deserted. Terrible place
Rooms are not large but equipped. There is no safe in the room. Nice hotel Large swimming pool. Free thermal water pool. Good and varied food. A lovely beach, including a bar, sun loungers and sheds .all inclusive Vegetarians also have selection What bothered me was the attitude to 'all-inclusive' guests who, as we know, pay a lot more ... they send you to take drinks by the pool by yourself, where you also have to clear the dishes
We visited the place with the family just because we had a good deal from a discount site, and it turned out to be a really fun experience !! The room ( mountain view) was good enough for 4 pax ( not anything special), the food ( full board) was really good with a big variety of dishes ( buffet style), the pool was enormous and really "exotic", and the thermal pool turned out to be a very good experience !!!. We didn't try the spa treatments as we found them a little bit expensive. The service ( reception, bar, pool, restaurant) was really polite and very caring. Overall, it was a really good weekend, and the kids adored it !!
One of the most luxury hotels in Kammena Vourla with amazing food and swimming pool. Front of the hotel have a nice beach bar with free Deck chairs and umbrellas for the clients of the hotel. The place is peaceful and Family-friendly. We visit also the spa with the hot spring waters, that was amazing relaxing place with a unique decoration. When you travel on the high way from Athens to central greece make a stopover in Kammena Vourla for one or more days.
Prestigious and classy hotel in an excellent location, in the heart of popular Kamena Vourla. Kind staff, elegant rooms with nice views, quality food, live music by the pool, while there is a second pool for the Wellness Spa. Kamena Vourla are just next door to the Lilliputian paradise of the unique islands named Lihadonisia. Also close to the port of Agios Konstantinos with ferries to the islands of Skiathos, Skopelos and, Alonissos and close to Delphi, the Centre of the Ancient World (Omfalos) and the Sanctuarium of Apollo. Easy access to the mountains, the National Park of Iti and all parts of Greece. A very very good choise if not the best one!
