I like the idea of the Victorian style. Felt like new carpet and updating is needed
Loved happy hour and the breakfast!
It was quaint, comfortable and delightful surroundings. Staff - polite, friendly and very helpful!! Loved it - will go back again.
Great location, breakfast, tea and coffee all day, staff, and cleanliness
Great location. The woman who checked us in was really friendly. The room was adorable and had a really nice shower. A housekeeper showed up at 10:30AM and attempted to let herself in... luckily the
Great Happy hour, hot tub, breakfast and location in the middle of downtown were all big perks. Even the little things like a bottle of water or soda at check in and check out
We love the Frisco Lodge. This weekend was our first visit during a magnificent "leaf peeping" weekend. The Aspens were dressed in all their golden glory. The lodge is the best location in town. It's right on Main Street, quiet yet within an easy 5 minute walk of more great restaurants than we could go to over 4 days. Lake Dillon is a 5 minute drive. The charming village of Breckenridge with its interesting shops housed on old homes and cabins is only 8 miles away. Be sure to see "The Troll" there, an amazing 30 ft tall wood sculpture by a Scandanavian artist. Now back to The Lodge. It's a classic Colorado Victorian and log lodge...tin ceilings, large living room with super comfortable couches and chairs, dining table. The food was amazing, fresh and all made from scratch. The breakfast buffet included fresh baked muffins, fresh orange juice, a variety of scrumptious meats, fresh coffees, fruit, made-to-order eggs, cappacino, latte and more. The 4:30 Happy Hour was so good, we skipped going out to dinner one night. Generous pours of excellent wines (my wife, 'The Wine Queen', was duly impressed) and a 5 Star buffet spread of fresh cheeses, meats, prawns, etc. were so much more than we expected. The staff was superb and happy to give us inside tips on everything from restaurants to scenic drives. I would reccommend Frisco Lodge to anyone looking for an unforgettable mountain vacation experience.
This is a great place to stay. Very cozy. Beware, however, the rooms are small and the walls are thin. Usually, in b and b's, folks tend to understand this and are considerate of noise. This was not the case, however, the night we stayed at the Frisco Lodge. Our next door neighbors came in well after we were asleep and were talking loudly, playing some sort of quiz game sound effects and opening and closing all sorts of doors. Needless to say I didn't get the best night's sleep.
Super friendly social setting in common areas with great quiet privacy in rooms. And they have a fabulous model train running around the courtyard!
Staying at this lodge is like time travel. What it lacks in new carpet and sharp corners it makes up for tenfold in character and charm. The service is extremely friendly and helpful. Happy hour and the breakfast spread were literally the best I've ever had! Great location - really enjoyed our stay.
We enjoyed our stay! Clean, Cozy, and Comfortable. Can’t wait to revisit. Don’t miss the happy hour, or the delicious breakfast!!
The lodge is right in the middle of frisco and could not be more convenient and the staff is more than welcoming. I work for an airline and travel a lot. This place is exceptional.

Thank you so much for the absolutely amazing review! We greatly appreciate it! You came at such a great time while the leaves are doing their thing! It is such a great time of year. We are so happy you and your wife enjoyed it all, it was a pleasure to host you two! Hope to see you soon!
Wow, a 5 out of 5! We are so thrilled that you had a great stay at the Frisco Lodge. See you next time you are in the Rocky Mountain.

We are so sorry that you had a tough night of sleep, typically our guests are very respectful. We are happy that you had a great rest of your trip! We do hope you come back another time. If you do, I'm not sure if you stayed in the Main Lodge or the North Lodge, but we can try to find a top floor end unit in the North Lodge. Those typically are the quietest since there are fewer rooms surrounding you.
Kurt, thank you.
