We stayed 4 night and loved our time. The staff welcoming and knowledgeable. Stephanie and Abigale were two we worked with most. Pool looked nice but did not use. Back area was so relaxing. Able to have fire two evenings, great! Breakfast in basket is nice concept and consistently good. Rates reasonable. Highly recommend.

We stayed in room 8. Nice, Clean, Luxurious room, bathroom and shower. nice presentation, comfy cozy bed and bedding. Check in was quick and easy. Breakfast was delivered by 8am each morning. My only complaints are: Vending machine was out of service, 2 stools that were on the balcony in the picture online were not there - no furnishings on balcony. The nice shower...big enough for 2 - only had one small water source in the whole space. It hung from the center of the ceiling and came down like a small rainshower. Nice but not practical for 2 unless one person wants to stand in the cold. While I pointed out a few "complaints " I still give it 5 stars b/c none of the things I'm complaining about would make or break our enjoyment. I'm only sharing incase these things are particularly important to you. When flipping thru pics online and booking, I originally liked the idea of having a couples shower on our romantic little getaway but at the end of the day it wasn't really that big of a deal. We enjoyed the nice big bed , slept very comfortably and the room is capable of being as cold or as warm as you want it to be. The fireplace adds the perfect touch of romantic and cozy and if you open the glass doors it puts off quite a bit of heat...if you get too warm you simply close the glass. It was a very short walk away from Main Street which was exactly what we wanted! We would absolutely stay there again!! ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Lovely little place in the heart of Fredericksburg, TX. We were there over Xmas day and assumed we would have fewer services on site. But the breakfast both days was plentiful and tasty! We didn't have housekeeping come in on Xmas Day, which really wasn't an issue for us at all, and they kindly dropped off a bag with extra towels and coffee, ice bucket bags etc in the morning, so we didn't feel the lack whatsoever. The room is super cozy, like a log cabin, with all the wooden beams and wooden furniture. There is no fireplace in the room (which the site seemed to suggest there was), but the hot tub was amazing! Be warned that getting into the tub to shower or use the hot tub requires mobility and dexterity and may not be suitable for all ages and abilities. The upstairs room had a little balcony, and the room had 2 rockers outside on a little porch to enjoy your coffee outdoors. Really nice place, and can see this being a lovely romantic or relaxing getaway.

Clean and nice room. Room 6 could use more coat hooks or towel racks. Of 3 breakfasts the waffles were best. Other 2 fixed menu just average. Shower curtain drags inside the tub- should be 1 foot shorter.

The room was spotless, the property was wonderful! Love being able to make a fire when it got cold outside. No smoking on the property would have loved to smoke a cigar next to the fire. If you have a bottom room with neighbors above the floor squeaks and makes alot of noise. Not good if youre looking for a food nights sleep. Staff was very accommodating and very nice! We would stay again but a room with no neighbors above us or below us!

Great place to stay. We stayed 2 nights in room 2 which has tv upstairs and down with nice fireplace by the bed. Right outside pool area. Breakfast brought and left outside room before 8am and just heated in microwave. We opted for the large shower instead of jacuzzi tub and it was great with rainfall showerhead. Would certainly stay again.

This place is a hidden gem. My only downfall is driving an oversized 2500 gmc in the right parking lot. Everything from checkin- to end was fantastic! The room was spacious, clean, good bed, linens, robes, breakfast baskets and coffee bar. The room refresh daily was a big plus. We will always try to book this lodge when returning because it’s super easy to walk a block and be on man street! Perfect location!

Location is perfect. Very comfortable bed!! My only two critiques are no sink downstairs and we are not fans of breakfast casseroles. A plain scrabbled egg and bacon would have been a nice option.
