Smoky. Stucco pealing off the ceiling. Bottom of the bathroom door deteriorating. Unclean floors. Dirt on the side of the bathtub. The room was large and did have a mini fridge and microwave, not mentioned on Orbitz.
It was very quiet after a long road trip.
Dirty dirty dirty......covers were stained and the sink was disgusting, unusable
We found the property was very outdated and dirty. The pergo-like floor was filthy and there was a dirty towel in the bathroom that was folded as if cleaned and unused. Lord only knows if the sheets were changed. We only needed the bed luckily and didn’t need the bath towels. Behind the door in bathroom was also dirty and obviously untouched for quite awhile. A place can be outdated and old but can at least still be cleaned properly!
The Desk clerk was pleasant - However the room was terrible - It Reeked of cigarette smoke, was painted a Dark Brown, had only 2 little lamps - very darm. I think that was so as to hide the condition of the bed linens. I DID NOT STAY - I IMMEDIATELY ASKED FOR A REFUND AND LEFT.
Exactly what a moderately priced, convenient travel hotel should be.
Nice location, It was easy off and easy on I-95. The room was very comfortable. The temperature was well controlled. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was not good. I had to eat breakfast nearby. The rate was fair. I would go back for the half way trip from Rochester, NY to South Carolina.
Nice place. CLEAN- NICE PRICE Front desk staff- very helpful with directions and good advise about historic sites. Good directions to a flea market- Wonderful experience.
Reservation cancelled prior to arrival and staff attempted to indicated it was never received. Booked via orbitz and had confirmation number for stay 3 days prior to checkin
The hotel was being renovated and very door would not return here again
The first room smelled like a dirty dog and the second room had a leaky toilet. No a good stay.
Hotel dirty pool dirty hot tub full of rocks roach in the pool. Gym unavailable for use.. had to clean the bathroom myself when checked. Staff rude false advertising all the way around.. will never stay again or recommend anyone too. Worst Howard Johnson I have ever seen.
The location was smack in the middle of everything I needed. Didnt realize there was a pool, so that was very relaxing. For the time I was there, pretty good visit! Will be back
Staff was very friendly but when it comes to cleaning a room they have no clue.... and there towels and wash clothes always look dirty .... I also woke up to a roach crawling on my bed
Upon arrial, there was no clerk at the front desk, I waited about 10 minutes. The room was suppose to be a non-smoking, micro and refrig. The clerk said they only had 4 rooms meeting that criteria. My room was on the 2nd floor (no elev.) and it was a smoking room. The bathroom linens were soiled and the room needed repair. I have pictures. I tried to place a wake up call between 8:00-8:30, no answer. I think you should not endorse this hotel, there is a difference between needing renovation and NOT clean needing repair.
Needs some updating. Not bad for the price. Stayed there twice on the way to Myrtle Beach. Never saw the breakfast that was advertised. Pay a little more for an indoor room. It's worth it. Good pool for the kids but bring your own towels. There aren't any at the pool.
I picked this hotel as it was the only one with a pool still open after mid August as it is indoors. Unfornately the water was ice cold. The place is dated and the restaurant never opened but we loved the indoor access from the lobby which I never even saw before. Beds were old and sagging but clean. small frig in room was very handy. A/C worked very good. Many places to eat nearby, gas station next door and one minute to route 95..

To start with I booked with Ramada Inn. At check in I was told my room was in the second build in the back. Which actually was a Knights Inn. Loud music and a lot of blacks roaming through the parking lot. I stayed the first night , but that was all I wanted ended up leaving and booked a room elsewhere. Definitely a bait and switch on this one.....Beware
I strongly suggest anyone to book this hotel. I won't recommend even if a room offered for $10 a night.
